00:00Right, well today we've got the Summer Extravaganza which is featuring the

00:14It's a Knockout which is very popular in the, certainly in the 70s, most people

00:19remember it for. It's a game of fun and knockout and slapstick, people get

00:25covered with bubbles and water so it's really great fun. It's part of what

00:30Hastings United Football Club are doing for the community. We got terrific fan

00:37support, we work closely with all elements of the community and it's part of, if you

00:44like, the Football Club giving something back to the community with a day of

00:49enjoyment. The club has recently set up for its Academy the Hastings Football

00:56Foundation which is a registered charity now and the money from our events like

01:03today's events will go to support our ladies teams, our children's teams which

01:09are from 6 to 16 and we've got just over 500 children now in all the various age

01:16groups, plus our inclusive and disability team and we've got one of those hopefully

01:23there will be a development squad for them in the near future. So all the money

01:27goes to support all of those initiatives. Well as I say we've got a tremendous fan

01:32base but we also rely on the community, local business to support us and half of

01:39the teams in the knockouts a day are from local business, so the business

01:44community, also just local residents and other community people, you've got

01:50charity stalls here who provide charitable information of all sorts to the

01:58community. So it's both an information and entertainment day just for the

02:05general public and the community as a whole. Just on the point of redeveloping

02:10the ground here at the Pilot Field which has been the home of Hastings for a

02:13hundred years now plus and we also will be doing other fundraising events we've

02:21got a fabulous casino night in September which publicity be coming out for soon

02:26with Elvis Presley and a fantastic lounge singer. So there's all sorts of things

02:32going on all of the time. We've just had a massive Academy tournament all this last

02:37week with hundreds of children here with their mums and dads and relatives and it's

02:42just been a super time.
