00:00:00hey everybody here we are episode six of tough bumps my name is matt connerton and of course
00:00:09uh eric pilcher my partner in crime in this particular venture hello eric hello matt how are
00:00:15you i'm good i'm good how are you feeling how are you doing and got a got a slight headache but
00:00:22you know joys of living in the midwest in the summer do you yeah do you get sinus headaches
00:00:29because that's that's what i get i i get a lot of sinus headaches this time of year i i am like
00:00:34the world's biggest baby like i hate the heat all together like just absolutely hate it yeah um i
00:00:44i would much rather it be like 30 degrees with snow than heat you you and i are polar opposites on that
00:00:54because i'm the complete opposite i love that when it's 90 degrees out i'm a happy guy and i
00:00:58i hate the cold i hate the cold i have a short fuse um but that fuse if it's hot out becomes
00:01:08non-existent oh really yeah it is gone like the littlest thing could set me off like it a
00:01:16commercial coming on tv oh wow could lose my mind yeah we're pulling opposites that way too i'm very
00:01:23chill i hate the heat and it's muggy it's like mid 80s right now i'm in my apartment and i i'm
00:01:36if i didn't have a dog i wouldn't go outside today yeah that's that's where we're at wow wow okay
00:01:43and i was out of waffles this morning so i had to go to the store you had no choice you had to get
00:01:49waffles i understand i i love waffles like i breakfast food and me are very weird i go in
00:01:56spurts like i'll go through like a two three week period where i just love cereal then it'll be two
00:02:03three weeks where i love bagels then it'll be two to three weeks and i love like waffles or pancakes
00:02:08yeah yeah we're we're on a waffle kick especially since hy-vee has produced these new waffles cinnamon
00:02:17waffles there it's just like taste eating cinnamon toast with maple syrup sugar free of course but
00:02:25and cinnamon's a superfood so i did not know that that is good to know it is that is very good to
00:02:35know um well so we have of course our main event this week will be our third and final installment
00:02:41of uh brett hart uh talking about his return to wwe um uh when he uh when he came back and
00:02:48made nice with uh sean michaels and all that i mean we we actually we talked about some of that last week
00:02:53but then we realized we needed to do a part three of uh brett the hitman hart uh of course uh your
00:02:58all-time favorite my second all-time favorite he's a very close number two for me um but we also
00:03:05so of course we have the undercard and and we have a few things and if you don't mind eric and i i
00:03:10sprung this on you at the last minute we haven't uh discussed this at all and i i intentionally did
00:03:15not want to discuss it ahead of time either because i want to get because i don't think we've ever
00:03:19really gotten into this specifically not recently um and and i want to get your unvarnished uh reaction
00:03:27shall we say to what what i'm going to say about this because i i genuinely don't know what you think
00:03:31about this um but um john cena's current heel run um there is a lot of complaining online on many of the
00:03:45podcasts like you know brian alvarez uh complains and uh uh i don't know if you you probably don't
00:03:51like him uh jd from ny uh he's i know you don't like people with new york accents very much
00:03:56as you shared once but and you know i i don't like new york in general i understand place is a dump
00:04:05um i i i i'm a i'm a i'm a main massachusetts uh even though i've only been there once never in
00:04:17your neck of the woods me uh new hampshire type of guy i'm not not a new york guy i i i've been to
00:04:24new york one time and i was at time station on a layover i walked out and the smog burned my eyes
00:04:35oh my in the summer of 98 okay i wanted to do was see madison square garden and i did you not i saw
00:04:43a mugging oh all right yeah so um yeah it places a dump um they haven't won a sports championship well
00:04:53their women's basketball team won one last year but until then it was like 2009 they think they're
00:05:00this great city they are the greatest at everything and it greatest at crime yes greatest at smog
00:05:09absolutely greatest at filth no doubt but other than that i i i don't have much that they're good at
00:05:18i i haven't seen it certainly not certainly not running a weekly radio show or weekly podcast like
00:05:25we do that's that's for sure and that that will that will bring us to another point uh another uh
00:05:31subject in a moment but yes i have it on good authority they could be good at something but
00:05:37continue with your so there's a anyway there's a lot of complaining online uh various uh wrestling
00:05:44podcasters people who do what we do uh uh commentating on wrestling um and um the general consensus
00:05:51as i can tell seems to be that john cena's heel run is a failure people are very dissatisfied with
00:05:57it they don't think it's what it could have been uh all of this and uh the reason i'm part of why i
00:06:02wanted to talk about this for a moment and to also get your thoughts is i've been really enjoying it
00:06:08um could it be better yeah just from a storyline perspective i would tweak a couple of things
00:06:15but overall i think it's pretty awesome and and i've been really enjoying it and and part of what
00:06:21i think people are dissatisfied with that i'm actually enjoying about it is he's kind of under
00:06:27playing it a little bit like i heard brian alvarez say he talks like a robot and and but i actually
00:06:34i like the way he's kind of under playing it especially and a great example of this by the way
00:06:38saturday night's main event his backstage interaction with jay uso the way cena just very calmly says to him
00:06:45you know if i retire as champion and and and you lose your title your belt ends up around the waist
00:06:53of a youtuber that would almost ruin wrestling and the way he delivers the line i just thought it was
00:06:59great and so i'm really enjoying john cena's heel turn and uh i'm surprised at how many people are
00:07:04complaining about it and and actually calling it a failure and i'm really curious what you think
00:07:09yeah one numbers don't lie numbers are empirical
00:07:15they're doing good money wise they're doing good ratings wise oh yeah um better than good i i don't
00:07:27want to even sit here and entertain this idea that this is a failure um they merchandise for every last
00:07:39appearance he has a new outfit with new t-shirt new socks new wristbands headbands um yeah
00:07:47you know and they're really cool designs yeah um so those are selling like hotcakes look
00:07:56pro wrestling fans and pro wrestling analysts
00:08:05are very fickle and finicky in the sense that they want what they want when they want it sure the
00:08:15fans wanted this for so long yeah they didn't get it when they wanted it they wanted it in in the
00:08:23analysts are largely guilty of this your uh dave meltzers your uh brian alvarez's sean ross saps
00:08:33all of them sola monster he's another one who i really enjoy his content i love listening to him
00:08:38but he's another one he's just bitching about this scene yeah they can shut the fuck up and here's why
00:08:47point blank you you they they wanted it when they wanted it they wanted john cena's final run to be like
00:08:58nice and wrapped up in a little package in a bow a good farewell tour and all of this sunshines and
00:09:05rainbows but it isn't sunshines and rainbows and the only argument i will listen to in this being a
00:09:15failure and if they call it a failure because of this it's wrong i won't listen to it be called a failure
00:09:22for this reason i'll listen to it was a misstep but i won't call it a failure because of this um is
00:09:32the rock jump starting this heel run and then not being a part of it yeah that's a misstep that doesn't
00:09:42mean it's a failure um correct i agree yes i agree and i i think like we look it we look at everything
00:09:53black and white in this world of podcasting and dirt sheets and whatever the hell else
00:09:59we don't look at it as there are layers to everything you know if you watched uh stephanie's
00:10:08place on espn plus that john cena on there and he he even played a heel on that uh you know because she
00:10:18asked him uh the inside story about his heel turn and he said no comment but i want to thank you for
00:10:25being there and always having my back and you know just played it straight heel and everyone's like
00:10:32oh he's so monotone because that's again you go back to his original promo right after this he told us
00:10:41you get nothing yep all he wants to do is ruin pro wrestling and and so no he isn't going to give
00:10:52you the impassioned promos he isn't going to give you the uh range you owe sentences he isn't going to
00:11:00give us anything and he hasn't given us anything yeah so why are we sitting here bitching about it
00:11:09you can sit like you can say i wish there was more to it i wish they gave us more okay cool
00:11:18but to sit here and call it a failure just because you don't like it or don't agree with it yeah i
00:11:28guarantee you dollars to donuts if vince mcmahon were still in charge most of these experts would be
00:11:39all over this oh vince has done it again vince has done this vince has done that i don't agree there
00:11:46i don't i don't agree there absolutely they would i disagree with you there they because
00:11:53he's saying people have been shitting on vince and rightfully rightfully so for a very long time
00:11:58i don't think they'd say that maybe you want to come up with a new terminology instead of shitting
00:12:04on in regards to vince mcmahon that's a very fair point like i was even going to say dumping on
00:12:11poor choice of words yeah uh they've been critical they've been critical of him creatively for a long
00:12:18time so no i don't think they'd give him credit if he were still there i think they i think they would
00:12:22give him more red they would give him the same amount of credit that they're criticizing triple h of
00:12:31right now and that's my that's my opinion yeah and i disagree but i i i don't think they would be okay
00:12:40let me rephrase they wouldn't be as critical as they are right now because to them
00:12:49it's almost territorial they they think and they think triple h is tearing down the last visage of
00:12:57what vince built is my guess the triple h is tearing down vince's last guy which was john c oh i i see what
00:13:08what you mean yeah triple h couldn't tear down hogan triple h couldn't tear down austin triple h
00:13:15couldn't tear down you could uh so he's gonna tear down john cena um look you can look at it like that
00:13:25or you can look at the guys triple h has built up oh yeah i guarantee you if you look at it through
00:13:33those lenses notebooker is perfect no notebooker is spot on every time as a matter of fact one of
00:13:43the greatest booking minds in our business jim cornet has had some misfires oh sure um you know every
00:13:51great booker has had misfires and you can sit here all you want and say oh triple h is doing this
00:14:00triple h is doing that like i'm gonna go a little bit into the weeds here triple h is ruining wwe with
00:14:07high ticket prices that isn't triple h that's endeavor right okay right triple h has nothing to do with that
00:14:16wwe bailed on a city for wrestlemania again it's being more run like a business than an entertainment
00:14:26company as the face of the company triple h inevitably takes the brunt of the criticism for
00:14:32like you said like things that he has no control over at all he doesn't and you people want to sit
00:14:39here and say oh i can't afford to take my family to wwe you haven't been able to take your family to a
00:14:44baseball game for years but you're you don't complain about that you haven't been it's getting
00:14:52more and more expensive take your family to the movies you don't complain about that my point is
00:14:58you're complaining about this because it's something new to complain about right look i have get i have
00:15:05pretty much brushed off my bucket list ever going to seeing a super bowl or ever going to a wrestlemania
00:15:14yeah i i'm fine with that that's fine so be it because it's being run as a business yeah yeah and
00:15:27and that's what it has to be run as now because yeah they're a corporation they're not this family run
00:15:34entity that wwf was under vince right um so it sounds like we're in agreement i was hoping i was hoping you
00:15:44were going to argue with me about it because that's no anytime you bring up the the dirt sheets and them
00:15:50guys and what their opinions are i almost am going to disagree out of the gate because
00:15:58to quote bruce pritchard they don't know they don't know like dave melzer's unnamed sources are
00:16:08are the boys work in hand oh of course you know like they don't know
00:16:16s**t sean ross sap doesn't know s**t well it's no different than it's access journalism ultimately
00:16:22right just like any other kind of you know just like in politics right i mean you you you you write
00:16:28what they feed you right so so you so you continue to have them as sources at some point
00:16:34at some point political journalists realize they're getting worked yeah and wouldn't dave
00:16:43melzer know by now he's getting worked i mean the guy said mabel was going to be the third man
00:16:52yeah i i mean look at his misfires he has had you know and yet there are people out there that not
00:17:01only subscribe to his newsletter but pay extra to patreon to get extra tidbits from him i know yeah
00:17:10it seems like a waste of money um this is something that one other element to this so before before we
00:17:16move on from cena because um excuse me one of the things that um they've uh those who have been very
00:17:23critical of his heel run have been critical of by the way is his now you and i disagree i know we
00:17:28disagreed about his wrestlemania match oh that was against against cody you didn't like it i
00:17:34actually liked it but i don't think we've talked about what did you think about his match with randy
00:17:38orton because this is another thing where they're they're dumping on cena and saying he can't work
00:17:43i thought their match at backlash was actually very good especially for a couple of guys in their
00:17:50you know their mid to late 40s going in and working i thought they put on a really good match
00:17:54there are certain times in this business where the crowd makes a match better than what it is oh
00:18:01yeah it was a hot crowd yeah it was a hot crowd and i i really think that the crowd reaction made that
00:18:09match better than what it is look here's here's the deal with john cena right now this is what we're
00:18:15gonna get this is not i mean i've come to terms with it he has lost more than two steps
00:18:24in the ring um you know i i am dreading this tag match next saturday night really it is i think it's
00:18:35going to be a raging dumpster fire um well i am very intrigued with money in the bank
00:18:44because i think we get a cash in at the end of the night
00:18:48really i think we get a cash in at the end of the night oh interesting yeah do you want me to go
00:18:57out on a limb here so our listeners have a week actually two weeks to digest this before they rip on
00:19:05me i'm very curious yeah seth rollins wins money in the bank and cashes in on ju soda in the night
00:19:12that wow that would make sense actually that would make sense my now my cousin austin we we were
00:19:20talking last night and austin said he thinks punk wins money in the bank and cashes in on cena to end
00:19:30money in the bank so that's intriguing now in austin if i misquoted you i apologize but i think that's
00:19:38the gist of it i said it makes more sense to have it be seth cashing in on jay it does it does because
00:19:48there has not been a huge build to this june 9th match between jay and gunther
00:19:55now whether it's because jay doesn't have the title or because goldberg comes back and costs gunther
00:20:03the match leading to their supposed match at summer slam or wherever is supposed to be goldberg's
00:20:10retirement match it's a rumor it's going to be at the next saturday night's main event in atlanta
00:20:17um but regardless i i just think it makes too much sense to have seth rollins win money in the bank
00:20:26cash in on jay on uh jay usso to end it now i can see it yeah i can definitely see it yeah because
00:20:36it just it just makes too much sense and i love cm punk he is no me too as you know it is between him
00:20:44and uh two guys in aew believe it or not that are my favorites to watch right now uh who in aew is one
00:20:53of them will osprey no oh i'm surprised okay well because i love will osprey okay three guys in aew
00:21:01because i do have to include will yeah in that uh mjf yes and uh mjf and a guy that i think should be
00:21:13the aew world champion right now um it just kills me that he isn't because he should be
00:21:21swerve strickland oh yeah he's amazing too yeah absolutely i mean so yeah those four guys and i i
00:21:30tell you what if any of our listeners are not subscribed to mjf's twitter they need to because
00:21:36they are missing out there's a guy this week who posted on twitter i was 330 pounds until i met mjf at
00:21:48a meet and greet and he called me a stupid fat mark to my face yeah that i lost weight so thank
00:21:56you mjf oh no he has a before and after side by side the before is him really large meaty mjf and then
00:22:05the after is him slim and spell and shirtless flexing and mjf retweets it and adds my you know my
00:22:14philanthropy is not talked about enough yeah no that's awesome that's a very positive story because
00:22:22mjf obviously is a heel but that's a very that's a very positive story yeah that's cool you know
00:22:28motivation can come in many forms absolutely absolutely um well should we move on to uh speaking
00:22:34of motivation so um uh you you were the first one to realize this uh when you brought to my attention
00:22:42because i didn't even know i did not even know about this the by the way so last week the first
00:22:47thing i did after we got done was i showed jenny because she didn't know about it either she'd never
00:22:51seen it the video of at a w at that time a wwf event in 1986 i believe it was madison square garden
00:22:59correct yes it was and they had sammy hagar come into the ring and they made a big deal announcing the
00:23:06lead singer of van halen or as gorilla monsoon referred to him as commentary the van halen group
00:23:12uh sammy hagar who it could not have been more clear that it was not sammy hagar it was a sammy
00:23:19hagar impersonator of some sort and you told the whole story behind it but i i actually sent you
00:23:27the original recording of this story and you did yes yes you did so so did i i think i missed
00:23:36some minor points on it but i got the general gist yeah yeah and it's just amazing by the way that
00:23:42that aired on television or at least i assume it did because it was on the msg network on the msg
00:23:48network okay so um and and and the the title of the video that i showed jenny initially was
00:23:54wwf has no idea who sammy hagar is because you watch this and it's so like the guy looks nothing like
00:24:01sammy hagar but they're but it's not a work they shoot thought that this was sammy hagar and they
00:24:07bring him into the ring and he says lord alfred hayes knows it isn't sammy hagar yeah he kind of
00:24:15sounds like he knows and then gorilla it also sounds a little bit skeptical in the commentary
00:24:20skeptical but gorilla being one of the greatest well one of the most underrated straight man yeah ever
00:24:27it's just like oh yeah and lord alfred hayes is like what is this bullshit yeah yeah um so
00:24:38so you see the video and it's like oh my god and i i'd never known until he brought this to my
00:24:42attention so interesting uh turn of events here so you actually called into we'll go ahead and say his name
00:24:51uh because otherwise we're not on any like handcuffs here we can say his name oh yeah yeah so uh crazy
00:25:00joe is given name of course jose martinez yes uh he uh he may call the fbi on us though yes well i don't
00:25:11know if you know this eric but ice actually uh contacted me recently wanting to know if i had any
00:25:15information on uh jose martinez but uh well i was trying to clear certain individuals out yes yes
00:25:25they are and it doesn't matter matt you know why you know why it doesn't matter why well we're all gonna
00:25:32die oh that's right yes according to joanie ernst we're all going to die we're all going to die someday
00:25:38that's right that's what uh i was i was in the news oh yes congratulations iowa uh so you but you
00:25:49called into the crazy joe show podcast he calls it internet radio which uh a term we haven't used uh
00:25:57since 2013 but uh but he but he still calls it that but it's really a podcast and uh he's doing his live
00:26:05podcast and i tried to call in but he won't take my call but you called in and you confronted him
00:26:11because you again to your credit as a journalist you got suspicious that the man in the video might
00:26:18actually have been a young crazy joe it does kind of look like him and um mr uh mr martinez got very
00:26:28defensive over this very defensive matt and you know he never denied it nope he did not he he diminished
00:26:38me which hurt yes he diminished my question he questioned my intelligence which joe many women
00:26:47have done that you're not so you're not in any esteemed you know audience questioning my intelligence
00:26:55buddy i'll have you know that right now um and then he he accused me of doing certain things to you
00:27:06when the call ended yes i want to say i called being very professional it was even very nice to him i asked
00:27:16him how it was going and he immediately started cussing at me yes he's very rude i was just like where's
00:27:24the professional courtesy here right where is the you know you know even though we're on different
00:27:33shows and even though i'm you know infinitely better at this than he is and you as well yes um there there
00:27:43there should be a degree of professionalism i could not rock that dice shirt that he rocked though no i i
00:27:51have a bit more self-respect than that anyway i went ahead and went to some of my people matt this is
00:28:01breaking news here i know some people in the pro wrestling business yes and they have requested to
00:28:10remain nameless in this yes they they said uh keep our names off this but they have said that they have
00:28:20it on good authority that jose martinez's face is still hanging up in the msg box office do not let this
00:28:33mean enter because he is the fake sammy hay guard right by the way uh for those uh walking you can see
00:28:45so there he is
00:28:48i'm showing the video for i follow that to our audio listeners but that does look like him doesn't it
00:28:54so back to the the hand thing matt if we think back to the great monumental rock band that is mailbox dog
00:29:05when they appeared on a public access tv show that's the same pose one crazy joe did on stage
00:29:13when concluding their number one hit i started the video over because i i i think i yeah you look here
00:29:24i mean that looks like guy looks short this little dude easy joe is a little dude it's a little i mean
00:29:30he's redund but he's short i mean he's a little rock on there that is yeah that is in my yeah
00:29:40that's that's totally him my wrestling sources matt have said that that yes that it is one jose martinez
00:29:56yeah yeah i believe it well so i have something to share too uh regarding that so i have i'm sorry
00:30:05oh well i just said oh boy i can't wait i have um i also
00:30:14well as you know so i work in the music industry and i have a lot of connections yes i know crazy
00:30:19joe thinks i've i've never even been to new york city but obviously i have uh so i have connections
00:30:24in the music industry who have told me uh that in fact and one individual in particular and if i said
00:30:31this person's name you would immediately recognize it so this is a trustworthy reliable individual
00:30:42uh with uh great credibility but i've been asked not to reveal their name because they don't want to
00:30:47get mixed up in this but but someone has told me someone who was there that night has told me that yes
00:30:56uh a man named jose martinez uh a man named jose martinez was in fact masquerading as sammy hagar
00:31:02uh at madison square garden that night at that event
00:31:09you know matt i think this is our chance to offer a a place of refuge a place of mercy
00:31:22jose jose jose i'm looking directly in the camera because i'm tearing into your soul jose
00:31:29oh really why would you do that jose unburden yourself of this it has to be weighing on you
00:31:39to know that for many years you tricked the late great adrian adonis red heart and
00:31:48and others into thinking you were sammy hagar just come clean if anything jose it might help
00:31:59your burgeoning internet radio career yes i think it would i think it would he might go from 10 listeners
00:32:09to 20 listeners maybe he could even get sammy hagar on his podcast and the reason i'm thinking that is
00:32:17oh i'm sorry his internet radio show and the reason i'm thinking that is i don't know if you know about
00:32:21this eric but in the early 90s there was an episode of the phil donahue show uh that peter chris
00:32:27appeared on but it started with there was a peter chris impersonator who was really a homeless guy
00:32:35uh who had a big problem but who was claiming to be peter chris and tom arnold actually fell for
00:32:42fell for it and thought it was his old friend peter chris and took him in and gave him money and a
00:32:48place to stay and everything and then it and then it turned out to not be peter chris and so on the
00:32:53donahue show and by the way i'm not making any of this up it's on youtube you're not i've seen it
00:32:58you've seen it yeah yeah on the donahue show they had the real peter chris come out and confront the
00:33:03guy because this impersonator made a lot of trouble for the real uh peter chris so what i'm saying is
00:33:09maybe just maybe uh sammy hagar would like to appear on the crazy joe show internet radio program
00:33:18and uh and and confront uh crazy joe about all the trouble that he's caused him maybe they could wear
00:33:25matching dice t-shirts with an anka pendant what also maybe they could do is wear matching zubaz pants
00:33:35there we go you know there we go it could be a uniting moment for these two yeah maybe sammy could
00:33:43pay to fix his teeth oh that'd be nice well sammy's got the money yeah sammy is filthy rich yes
00:33:51yes yes yes so uh so there you have it so uh we again and by the way look anyone listening to this
00:34:01who who is skeptical because we can't reveal our sources i don't blame you for being skeptical you
00:34:06don't have to believe us but no you don't but we know the truth and and it's him and he ought to just
00:34:11come clean it's been what 40 years i think he can come clean and just admit that it was him yes um you
00:34:18know i if you're going to question the fact that we cannot reveal our sources
00:34:27i'm gonna say this to the people how many news articles have you read that say unnamed sources
00:34:34and you believe them right people speak on background all the time it's journalistic integrity that if your
00:34:41sources say please do not reveal you do not reveal them right and because i know people in the business
00:34:50and want to keep knowing people in the business i won't reveal my sources but they are very credible
00:34:56they are trustworthy as yours in the music business is as well matt um so yes uh i i just think joe it
00:35:05might jose it might help you get just unburden yourself like like brett and sean did of their
00:35:15animosity drop the facade yeah just come out and say i am the fake sammy hagar you might as well yeah
00:35:24because we got you dead to rights jose i mean look my source i mean it's not like it's it's not tommy
00:35:30mottola but it's like one level below tommy mottola status in the music industry very very close i mean
00:35:39you know you know what we i might have to look into this i just thought of this one guy in that match
00:35:49dan spivey is very big on the pro wrestling indie circuit doing appearances
00:35:57is i might have to show dan because he actually shook sammy's hand before the match yes a side by
00:36:07side i might have to see when dan's going to be in the midwest or even go to my sources and say hey
00:36:15do you have a way i can contact dan spivey and see if we can get him on the show
00:36:20uh could we could we dust his hands for fingerprints and and run some sort of dna check again i i could
00:36:30think it's i think 40 years is a bit too much oh okay dan spivey has washed his hands once or twice
00:36:36since then that's a good point he's probably used hand sanitizer and the whole deal yep especially after
00:36:41shaking jose's hand yes if you shake shake the hand of jose martinez you're going to want to clean
00:36:48those hairy knuckles yes uh yeah oh boy oh boy all right no doubt but yes jose we got you should we put
00:37:03a dead should we put a deadline on this he has uh 48 hours to to fess up or we're going to contact the fbi
00:37:10you know what yes and furthermore he has 48 hours um before i contact madison square garden
00:37:21i am considering contacting the new york state police about this matter yeah absolutely this
00:37:27is fraud and misrepresentation and sammy hagar all he's wanted all he's ever done and all he's ever
00:37:35wanted to do is draw not drive in 55 that's all
00:37:45and joe jose you've taken that away from him yeah yeah exactly we well well uh okay so uh jose martinez
00:37:56you have 48 hours to come clean 48 hours yeah and i tell you what not 49 48 the msg picket office is
00:38:06probably going to be very sad after the nicks are eliminated tonight so they're going to have a lot
00:38:11of free time on their hands buddy mm-hmm please crack the case
00:38:19i'm i'm i'm ready by the way to text my contact at the new because i saved the phone number my
00:38:24contact at the new york state police but anyway all right so we should move on on from that yes but uh
00:38:31excuse me my allergies are just terrible uh so what what else is in the news uh for the undercard of
00:38:36course uh vince mcmahon he's got a new uh company should we talk about that 14th and i and then we
00:38:41could talk about who most assuredly will not be working for that company
00:38:49yeah what do you think vince is up to with this new uh that i i listened to cornet uh talking about
00:38:54this uh you know talking about how vince is an 80 year old man uh what is this problem why is he
00:38:59starting this now yeah why doesn't he just relax jonathan coachman has added fuel to the fire
00:39:06by saying he believes he he has said he knows for he knows vince is interested in buying wwe again
00:39:18okay tko and endeavor yeah and everyone's going running with this that vince is going to buy it back
00:39:27in order for a company to be bought there has to be two parties one willing to buy
00:39:34and one willing to sell tko and endeavor they are not going to sell wwf they are not i mean with the
00:39:49with the many city takeovers they have set up with wwe nxt and usc hosting events in one city over a
00:39:59weekend that ain't gonna happen not happening so that's all right i think vince has some illusions
00:40:09of grandeur that he might be able to start a pro wrestling startup which i don't think there's enough
00:40:22room for it right now you look at the tv time that is being consumed already with pro wrestling he would
00:40:29have to he would have to buy um he would have to buy impact or mlw and he would have to find a tv net a tv
00:40:47network that would be willing to wear them a national network that isn't going to happen um because no tv
00:40:55network is going to touch anything vince mcmahon touches right now right all right so i think vince
00:41:03wants to be in the in the business somehow some way and this is his way to do it
00:41:10um i think it will be a gross unmitigated failure up there with wwe films um i think uh it won't be
00:41:21the failure the xfl was both times but it it'll be a it might it'll be up there with the world uh bodybuilding federation
00:41:32yeah uh but do you think he's um do you think he's trying to get back into he's doing this to
00:41:39actually get back into wrestling or are there other projects that he's going to fund i find it hard to
00:41:44believe that he actually is going to start some sort of a wrestling promotion look what i know about vince
00:41:52mcmahon and it's just things i've read and hearing interviews reading interviews he's a very very
00:42:05grudge happy person vince i guarantee you has some grudge with triple h stephanie cko
00:42:19um if there is for casting him out there is a way for him to you with this company get back into the
00:42:29wrestling business he will definitely run with it even if and i just had this thought he gets involved with raf
00:42:41uh oh yeah the uh real american freestyle uh hogan's yes
00:42:53yeah even if it's well i think vince would jump at the opportunity because he he wants to say ah
00:43:02i damn it pal look at me and you know it's you you almost wish he would just
00:43:16ride off into the sunset at this point because you're sitting here and you're like this is
00:43:22this is disgusting and what you're accused of and um he's just acting like it's another day
00:43:33another day for him
00:43:37well do you think he just can't ride off into the sunset is because what you know we've learned a
00:43:43lot about vince mcmahon and and some of them uh geez i wish i didn't know but um do you think it's even
00:43:49possible for him to just ride off into the sunset because my uh my impression is that the way his
00:43:54brain is wired he can't do that like he literally just cannot do that he he has to he has to keep
00:44:02going and then until his dying breath he's going to have this drive and this ambition that that propels
00:44:08him in some direction whether or not it's to success or failure i think a lot of it is what else does he
00:44:16have you look at it in his drive and ambition we'll call it he has lost his wife he has lost his brothers
00:44:35he has lost his daughter he's lost his son he's lost his grandchildren he's lost his
00:44:44son-in-law he's lost the business he built in a way he's lost the professional wrestling empire he's built
00:44:55so what else does he have left
00:45:02well it's that's true um so but if he can't help himself he can't help himself that's what i'm saying
00:45:09that him being so empty it's so void of anything else he has to do this yeah so what do you think um
00:45:22well i guess that's a good segue right i mean we've got this new so john uh loranitis or johnny ace or
00:45:30john laryngitis as i've heard him referred to i think you might have called him that uh has uh
00:45:35basically rolled over on him right is is no longer uh cooperating with vince uh legally in this uh
00:45:41investigation johnny ace has become johnny the bull
00:45:48man like look i have i'm so conflicted on this one john loranitis and this is eric culture
00:46:00editorializing here john loranitis is a cowardly piece of shit and here's why if john loranitis
00:46:10had any
00:46:13had this sudden urge to do the right thing
00:46:19and he was such a victim he should have done this when they were still investigating vince for criminal
00:46:25charges um what why go ahead eric i'm sorry why why wait until now when all that's left is civil
00:46:36right um yeah yeah you're avoiding having to pay out money and you're going to do a private settlement
00:46:43cool but if you were so big into helping this woman l or clearing your name and
00:46:53and showing what an evil person vince mcmahon is why not do it when they were investigating him
00:47:01for criminal charges right i'm sure this woman's attorneys
00:47:09would have worked out a deal with you then the same deal you got and the feds probably would have
00:47:15piggybacked on to that and said hey we'll give you
00:47:21we'll give you most we'll give you a great deal of immunity
00:47:30like you're probably going to be on probation and you might have to register as a sex offender
00:47:36but we're going to let you live your life
00:47:39yeah and we're going to let you keep your money
00:47:46well you know thank you and good luck on your future endeavors
00:47:55um but yeah i look john loranitis is an and this is probably the most cowardly thing he's done
00:48:06and there are many many more cowardly things he's done this is this takes the cake
00:48:15you know i i can't think of um
00:48:19i'm trying to think
00:48:22obviously i've listened to a lot of wrestling podcasts over the years and a lot has been said
00:48:25about john loranitis i mean i i don't mean about these about what's going on currently i mean
00:48:30you know just in the past how he's dealt with people and how he's done
00:48:33his job and whatnot when he was head of talent relations and all of that
00:48:37i can't anything ever has ever said about the guy i literally can't think of anything
00:48:42because there's a lot of people in wrestling who you know some people like some people don't like
00:48:47some people um have a lot of detractors but there's at least a few people who like them some
00:48:52people are are who are generally beloved but there's a couple of people who have a problem
00:48:58with this individual in the case of john loranitis who likes john loranitis like nobody
00:49:04who don't even think his own i don't i people you can find me if you want i don't care i don't even
00:49:11think his own brother really liked him yeah yeah i i i don't yeah i mean the guy what we should
00:49:21clarify that eric for people who don't know who his brother is his brother is the late road warrior
00:49:27animal yeah uh yeah so yeah uh joe loranitis um i don't think shane douglas like some like simon
00:49:42they were a tag team yeah and wcw yeah yeah um with the skateboards that that loranitis never even
00:49:51rode i just wanted to carry them to the ring oh god he i think he rode a scooter once and almost
00:49:58rode it off the ramp yeah because wcw had that elevated ramp to the ring yes yeah i think he that
00:50:07happened but yeah um look uh he tried to bully teddy long and he bullied a great deal of people
00:50:16backstage um uh in kudos to teddy long i read uh an excerpt of him on a podcast earlier this week
00:50:28and he really took the high road on this yeah she called john loranitis a gutless coward which he is
00:50:34um and said that he's a piece of garbage which he is but he didn't shed any details he didn't outright
00:50:43try to bury the guy yeah um and probably teddy teddy long certainly has the juice to do so
00:50:53yeah and he's not afraid to speak his mind about how he feels about people
00:50:57but yeah john loranitis i don't know i just this whole thing it i keep thinking why not do it earlier
00:51:08if you're such a victim why not do it when the criminal charges were being investigated
00:51:15yeah exactly i it wouldn't shock me if vince paid him to do it really hey pal uh i'll give you a
00:51:26i'll give you 10 million dollars you take the fall for this
00:51:30let's think about it these these two instances were announced really hand in hand 14 and i vince's new
00:51:42company and john loranitis so i'm going a little conspiracy theorist here but yeah i could see it yeah
00:51:53uh oh interesting so that uh oh excuse me my allergies so that uh that that that story uh
00:52:03continues i guess there's not much more to say about that should we uh should we move on to the
00:52:07main event yeah yes we certainly can breath the hitman heart the best there is the best there was
00:52:15the best there ever will be uh just probably not so much in this era
00:52:23yeah uh i i intentionally put up a picture of how we like best uh to remember brett um
00:52:31but yes so uh of course uh the first uh the first week in part one we talked about uh uh brett's uh
00:52:38first big run in uh wwe and then uh and then uh in week two we talked about his move to wcw
00:52:45and uh now we're talking about his um his uh his reclamation if you will when he came back to wwe
00:52:52we talked we did talk uh somewhat last week about uh his reconciliation with uh the heartbreak kid
00:52:58sean michaels and we did actually we we talked about this era somewhat too about um you know i i
00:53:05expressed some strong feelings about how much i loathe uh brett's match with uh vince at wrestlemania
00:53:11how awful i thought it was um but i don't think we got too far into much else about that oh and we
00:53:19did talk about him as a general manager when he was raw general manager a role that uh was he was not
00:53:25well suited for clearly no no he wasn't um i mean look i thought it was
00:53:34there one to grade this with all of brett's prior work is not fair to brett um one he had cashed out
00:53:45his lloyd's of london insurance policy so he couldn't take bumps right couldn't he couldn't be in a wrestling
00:53:54match per se so any match he was in he would have to be carried in
00:54:02um or they would have i'm amazed by the way and i and i felt this at the time too
00:54:08i'm amazed that he could even get away with doing as much as he did
00:54:12you know what i mean like yeah he couldn't take bumps but there's still a risk of of something
00:54:17happening you know what i mean it seems it seems risky to me to do anything i think the biggest risk
00:54:24was the match with mcmahon because vince is not a worker right um and if you vince did get some
00:54:34offense in that match yeah i mean vince may vince stiffs him and hits him in the head
00:54:41head holy crap what could happen right yeah um what uh so what what haven't we discussed already
00:54:55about his uh we haven't discussed his u.s title reign yeah and i remember i did not like that either
00:55:03no that was that was not good no um um what in the match was just man it was it could have passed as
00:55:20it uh late 90s wcw match just with the run-ins in it man it was it was it was painful i don't i
00:55:33don't even remember much about it it was against the ms right he wanted from the ms i think the goal
00:55:38here was to write the ms off tv for one reason or another okay there are just far better options
00:55:48and far better ways to do it yes then what they did i mean you man
00:56:00um what did they do like how much do you remember about it because i for some reason i i i it's like
00:56:08a blur uh probably a repressed memory because it was uh painful to watch
00:56:16april 28th uh basically the ms had lost a match
00:56:22that guaranteed a wwe united states championship match to a heart family member of his choosing
00:56:30okay he chose brett
00:56:35okay uh and on the may 17th episode in may 17th episode of raw uh heart defeated the ms to win his
00:56:49fifth united states championship on the may 24th episode heart was named the new general manager of raw
00:56:56his first orders included vacating his u.s championship which r-truth won and setting up
00:57:04qualifying matches for fatal four-way okay um the next week he declared a viewer's choice
00:57:14uh he was attacked by nxt rookies after firing wade barrett and declining to offer them a contract
00:57:21a week later mcmahon fired brett
00:57:25uh as general manager for failing to control the rook rookies okay
00:57:32uh now he was actually he actually main evented another pay-per-view matt
00:57:43who did uh brett did yes he did i i don't uh i don't remember
00:57:50sir returned five weeks later where it was announced by john cena that he the great khali
00:57:55r-truth edge chris jericho john morrison and brett hart would face the nexus at summer slam that's
00:58:04right i don't remember the following week hart team was seen to wrestle summer slam teammates
00:58:11edge and chris jericho to a no contest in the summer slam main event he was disqualified for using a steel
00:58:18chair on skip sheffield also known as ryback yes his team ultimately won the match yeah
00:58:31so a a a pyrrhic uh victory of sorts uh was that it was that was that no was that his last match
00:58:39scheduled to face justin gabriel in a match but jesus christ i was unable to compete after the
00:58:52anonymous raw general manager citing his disdain for heart removed him from the match and replaced him
00:58:58with randy orton which led to one of the greatest rkos ever when randy orton rko justin gabriel out of
00:59:06midair oh yes that i remember that was cool uh yes uh yeah he did a couple other things uh in november
00:59:192010 hearts wwe contract had expired okay and then that was it and then and then did he sign a legends
00:59:28deal after that yes he is he does have a legends deal okay all right so that yeah so that was kind of
00:59:38so that was it now now he's come back for he's come back for the hall of fame obviously yeah i mean he
00:59:44came back for an episode of tough enough in 2011 at over the limit heart came in support of rival jerry lawler
00:59:53uh forcing michael cole to kiss lawler's foot uh and then the following night on raw heart refereed the
01:00:02main event which saw john cena and ray mysterio defeat our truth and cm punk with heart's assistance
01:00:11and also another key thing about brett is he was there the night jerry lawler had a heart attack
01:00:17oh he was yes he was uh he had the uh promo that ended the show with cm punk john cena and him and all
01:00:32three of them have been largely given credit for saving that episode of raw okay because yeah if you
01:00:40remember dolf dolf ziggler nick nemeth now did several hard elbows to lawler oh that's right yes um
01:00:52and i would never i don't blame nemeth for that you know you don't
01:01:01i firmly believe some people backstage did and that's what really hindered his career in wwe
01:01:08well i i do believe that it's very possible that that's what triggered uh the heart attack but
01:01:13that's but i don't believe that that that makes it his fault i mean yeah he had no way of knowing
01:01:18you couldn't possibly predict that uh no no yeah no he yeah i think it's gross but i do think that that
01:01:27is what officially derailed his career in wwe no interesting interesting i mean yes he did get a world
01:01:34title run after it but he was never looked at as going to be the guy yeah yeah um which is unfortunate
01:01:45because he should be oh absolutely i agree a hundred percent um okay so i believe and i could be wrong i
01:01:54think jerry lawler is held a grudge with him yeah probably on it that doesn't help his standing in any
01:02:04stretch um look if you're over the age of
01:02:1250 and you're in the shape of guys like jerry lawler and rick flair and even bret hart who is in great
01:02:21shape given his the health issues he's had and his age um when i met him you
01:02:32you probably shouldn't be in the ring with these young guys anyway yeah uh i i think that you know
01:02:42sometimes it's so easy to point the finger at the lowest man on the totem pole in pro wrestling when
01:02:50something goes wrong when you should point it at the person who planned the match like why is jerry lawler
01:02:59in a match with dolph ziggler right yeah i think that's uh i think that's fair i think that's fair um
01:03:11so what what what else what are we missing from this uh last run anything i i mean nothing much there
01:03:17isn't a lot i mean i do believe that brett gave his best effort i mean he was honored may 27th 2013
01:03:30uh with a bret hart appreciation night mm-hmm oh i remember that yeah and sean michaels said thank you
01:03:40for being the superman to my lex luther yep yep and that was awesome i have a lot of respect for sean for
01:03:48that yeah um and he did do a great deal of appearances you know for wwe i think brett's kind
01:03:57of at a place where he's not gonna come anytime he's called he's gonna come if he's called and it makes
01:04:04sense yeah like when he cornered natalia uh in the nxt women's championship finals between natalia and
01:04:17charlotte flair yes and rick flair had in charlotte had rick in her corner that's right yes that was
01:04:26awesome that made perfect sense and credit to brett and rick because they did these interviews that
01:04:34you know brett said something like you know you look at all the times a flare has been in the ring
01:04:40with a heart and it usually ends with the flare tapping out to the sharpshooter right and rick
01:04:49flares like a heartbeat of flare that would never happen yeah and you're i mean it but they didn't make
01:04:58the match about them they did subtle things outside the ring that let you know they were there yeah but
01:05:08they you know natty and charlotte that is probably my favorite charlotte flair match of all time oh no
01:05:15kidding yeah it's the match she had with natty and natty is such an undervalued talent
01:05:25i just found something else uh that that uh was actually kind of recent that we haven't mentioned
01:05:38i'm gonna try to get this on the screen here oh the stuff with him and gunther yes
01:05:43yes yes um
01:05:51i thought this was oh there it is yeah i thought this was uh uh pretty good actually uh that that when uh
01:05:57when when gunther said when gunther hit him with that line my favorite wrestler is uh bill goldberg
01:06:03yeah yeah oh yeah
01:06:11and uh i thought that was pretty good and and
01:06:17also you know well uh you know in the thing is is again i think brett is at a time and place where
01:06:26they're if it makes sense to him he'll do it he isn't just gonna willy-nilly do anything like
01:06:35you're not gonna bring him out there and have him and be like hey go cut a shoot promo on triple h why
01:06:42that doesn't make sense okay right i mean i'm sure he would yeah yeah i don't think you would have to
01:06:53ask brett twice to cut a shoot promo on paul levaque right right
01:07:04oh we should uh because yeah because like we were saying there isn't that much uh to that no there
01:07:09really isn't part of brett's career but we should talk about when you because we haven't talked about
01:07:14it in any detail right when you met bret hart yes oh man um when i met bret it was at first wrestling
01:07:22um uh they're a minnesota based uh indie wrestling promotion it was at a casino in red wing minnesota
01:07:32um i mean always being a fan of his and never having the chance to meet him um i went there two
01:07:41hours early and i sat there and just waited and waited and waited and uh and
01:07:48oh that's a nice looking belt and yeah i uh had uh i you know met him and gotta tell him you know
01:08:06i i was shaking when i got up there and i don't get starstruck i mean not to toot my own horn but i've
01:08:12interviewed nfl hall of famers actual ufc fighters george st pierre brock lesnar uh kenny florian
01:08:24um so but i was legitimately starstruck and i got to tell him some pretty deeply personal stuff like
01:08:33growing up you were my hero and i told him i'm like though because the one thing i could always count on is
01:08:41that bret the hitman heart would never let me down yeah and he's like i met and he looked at me and
01:08:47he goes i never wanted to let you down yeah and i'm like oh man and so i brought this winged eagle
01:08:56replica with me to the show nice and he in the picture of him and i this is the one he's holding
01:09:02oh he had the actual one that he carried to the ring with him but this one he had is the one he held
01:09:12in the picture okay on the back
01:09:15it is signed by bret with best there is best there was best there ever will be
01:09:28and i told him thank you thank you for being my hero and he said thank you for letting me be your hero
01:09:36oh that's really cool yeah i'm looking for that i thought i had it on this uh
01:09:45i thought yeah on this computer he was awesome um just so nice and spent time with everyone um
01:09:56and to meet him it was like 120 bucks oh no to get his autograph and picture with him yeah no 100 100
01:10:09and that's on your facebook page uh for people who want to see it is that still your profile pic
01:10:13oh yes yeah yeah easily like i've met kenny omega cody rhodes the young bucks tetsuya nido um
01:10:23um christopher daniels matt taven uh cm punk samoa joe
01:10:36a lot of a lot of guys yeah yeah um unfortunately rick flair
01:10:47yeah you've mentioned i i i've had i growing up i had three heroes
01:10:53uh brett the hitman heart william shatner and rick flair they say never meet your heroes
01:11:00two out of three prove that wrong yeah yeah one of them yup
01:11:09there's yup there it is yeah and a funny story the belt got caught on his sleeve
01:11:15oh really as i was trying to pull it away
01:11:18oh no kidding yeah i felt like such a tool and he just smiled at me and said thank you
01:11:24oh that's funny no that is very cool very cool yeah he's just like it yeah one of my favorite it is my
01:11:36favorite autograph that i have and i have some pretty awesome autographs i like to say uh orson
01:11:44wells robert de niro sylvester stallone brett hart is my favorite yeah no that's cool that's cool
01:11:54because of the story associated with it yeah yeah wow amazing okay very cool um any anything else to say
01:12:05about uh about uh about brett um yeah just it's cliche but best there is best there was
01:12:16best there ever will be i i think that that is the best way you could say anything about brett the hitman
01:12:27heart yeah um just everything he gave to the business and you look at the guys that he helped make
01:12:40better and the guys that say he made them better son michaels kevin nash uh who's who scott hall
01:12:50undertaker rick flair i mean guys that say yeah you know and you look at what he overcame
01:13:00you know stigma i mean he's not a big guy he is short but everything he did it just in that ring was
01:13:09so believable and i mean i would i don't have an issue saying this i don't think there is an
01:13:21individual that has given more to the business than brett the hitman heart okay um he gave us
01:13:32directly or indirectly uh gave us stone cold steve austin sean michaels and vx mr mcmahon you probably
01:13:44wouldn't have the attitude era if it you remove brett hart from the equation i don't think the attitude
01:13:51era happens oh i agree yeah absolutely um i you know and even you know people
01:14:00bash his wcw run and you can only do so much with what you're given yes and you know eric bischoff
01:14:10as smart as he was when he had brett he was starting to fight a lot of battles
01:14:16um and you know there he had some guys booking that didn't know how to book a brett hart and it's
01:14:25unfortunate um because there are so many great rivalries he could have had in wcw him and bbp could
01:14:34have been great oh yeah savage could have had a great run him and flair him and i mean even
01:14:44i i don't want to say him and hogan because hogan would have to be willing to give and
01:14:49that's not gonna work for me brother um but yeah i don't i think if you really look at the
01:15:00annals of pro wrestling history you're not gonna find a guy that has a fingerprint
01:15:07on more of this business than brett the hitman hart
01:15:11well it's like uh brett said recently in an interview if you look at the guys wrestling
01:15:19today they don't wrestle like cole kogan they wrestle like brett hart and he's right
01:15:26that they they said it perfectly and he's absolutely right they don't play to the crowd they chain wrestle
01:15:33you have to be you have to be able to throw a headlock you can't just rely on looking charisma
01:15:44um you know um that's the thing is and i think that if certain grudges were able to be put away brett
01:15:57could give so much more to the business yeah so much more yeah like
01:16:03whether nxt or wwe i mean he offered aew yeah um he asked to be an agent for them
01:16:15and was turned down that should tell you all you need to know about the intelligence of tony khan
01:16:23well how would that even work though if he's got a legends deal with wwe this is before he signed
01:16:29the legends deal oh it is okay yep yeah i mean they had a loose agreement but it wasn't an ironclad
01:16:39legends deal his deal brett's legend every legends deal has certain language put into it yeah of course
01:16:48uh brett i believe brett can opt out of his legends deal at any point in time if he gets an
01:16:56offer somewhere else oh okay interesting hmm that's a pretty sweet deal then i mean i think uh quite a
01:17:05few legends have that oh jake the snake is under aew contract and he still gets wwe checks oh yeah okay
01:17:15okay um rick flair um rick flair say i don't know if rick still has a legends deal yeah who knows um
01:17:24um but you know so i mean legends deals are there to give back to those that gave but gave so much to the
01:17:34business um and that's the way it should be they shouldn't be handcuffed to wwe certainly i think i don't
01:17:43think aew could release a brett hart action figure right right no i'm sure they couldn't um
01:17:52so yeah but i think a lot of brett is
01:17:57i think he i think he wants to give back to the business more than he does but people have to allow it
01:18:07and in some instances brett has to maybe let some things go that might be hard for him to let go
01:18:15yeah yep very good very good well should we put some just like someone else who should let go of
01:18:23something being uh finally owning up to being the fake sammy hagar that's right crazy joe needs to
01:18:30finally uh own up to uh his deception and his subterfuge and his coke usage
01:18:41i don't know anything about that
01:18:45i mean it's in the story this person did coke
01:18:49well that's with adrian madonna's and jim the anvil and that's when jim the anvil might heart
01:18:56pop and said that is sammy hagar when sammy did a line of blow well the fake sammy did a line of blow
01:19:03and his nose started bleeding right
01:19:09yes that is uh that is part of the story oh boy well should we uh should we talk about next week what the
01:19:16the main event are we finally going to do this episode or is there going to be another switch
01:19:21here no i think i think we're finally going to uh but i can't remember what we discussed it was
01:19:26something about a rivalry what rivalry yes we are or or or or as someone we know likes to pronounce it
01:19:33rivalry rivalry rivalry rivalry our first rivalry we're covering on the show he has a speech impediment
01:19:40to be fair you're your top guy yes man randy savage and hulk hogan aha
01:19:50looking at her with lust in your eyes yeah
01:19:56oh yeah oh my goodness yeah i i remember being uh nearly six years old and having to ask my aunt
01:20:06what lust in someone's eyes was oh did she tell you did how did she handle that um
01:20:15shut up oh really yeah yeah yeah i guess that's what looking looking back at it how do you explain
01:20:23to a six-year-old what i i i remember being a kid and uh watching a sitcom and and the word horny uh
01:20:33showed up in the show and i i remember asking my stepmother uh what does horny mean and she's like
01:20:38that's a grown-up word as she was sitting there knitting angrily because she was angry a lot and
01:20:43she would just knit furiously scarves and things she's like that's a grown-up word maybe it was the
01:20:49scarf to wrap around your neck matt it probably was because i don't to this day i don't know was she
01:20:56was she angry that i asked her an uncomfortable question or was she just uh bothered that i was
01:21:00attempting to interact with her in some way uh but uh while she was knitting at least it was your
01:21:07stepmom my real mother acts that way i shouldn't laugh about it but what are you gonna do you gotta
01:21:16laugh that's the best yeah that's what are you gonna do at this point like yeah it's better to laugh
01:21:23it's better to laugh um well very good so yeah uh next week the rivalry of uh
01:21:29i mean and i think that this could be a two-parter because they had a rivalry in wwe
01:21:35wwf and then they had one in wcw and it never made sense when they would face off because it's
01:21:43like one week they would be cool and then the next week we're building towards a feud and that
01:21:48the match never happened yeah it would have been uh would have been nice if there had been a little more
01:21:54uh consistency in storytelling but alas there was yes yes so we have covered a lot of ground today
01:22:04yes yes i feel good about this i do too i do too episode six in the books uh shall we sign off
01:22:11yeah everyone have a good week be happy be healthy be safe um crazy joe it is time to repent yes it is
