00:00Hey, Dr. Gretchen Green, Jaime Alamón, Jesse Williams, Mark Rocket, and Paul Jarris.
00:06But we're going to have more information on this incredible crew coming up shortly.
00:11Yeah, so Tabitha, right now our astronauts are getting settled into their seats in the crew capsule.
00:17...be a part of one of our next New Shepard launches,
00:20getting to see this big, beautiful blue planet we call Earth from above the Carmen Line.
00:25If you want to check out more information, you can go to our website.
00:28But for now, let's take a look at this footage and sit on this for just a second.
00:32There they are, ringing the bell, our crew for NS-32.
00:37There's Amy, big smile.
00:40The excitement they must be feeling in this very moment.
00:46One, two, three.
00:47The South, New Shepard has cleared the tower.
01:08That's right, New Shepard has cleared the tower.
01:11Now, if you want to follow along, take a look on your left-hand side of the screen.
01:15That's where you're going to be able to note the speed and the altitude graphics, as well as follow.
01:21Just a great shot.
01:23The astronauts are experiencing zero-G right now.
01:25They're taking a look out those big, beautiful windows, getting some photos together.
01:30And you can see there on your screen, you can, you look really carefully, you can see the capsule and the booster, you know, coming, separated and continuing their journey.
01:41Beautiful day.
01:42You can hear the voices of the astronauts.
01:51They sound so excited.
01:53I can't wait to see the footage, of course.
01:55We will release that footage on our social media later.
02:00CC Apogee 344,000 feet.
02:03CM Apogee 343,000 feet.
02:05CM Apogee 344,000 feet.
02:35One minute warning.
02:39One minute warning.
02:42You just heard from Capcom that one minute warning.
02:45Now that is giving the astronauts a heads up that in one minute they need to be back in their seats.
02:51Really soaking up those last few seconds.
03:10Really clear day to get this shot of the booster and the capsule.
03:13And again, on your screen, the left-hand side, those two bars, the left bar is tracking the booster descent, and the right bar is the capsule descent.
03:32Both of them are coming down about the same speed right now, but very soon they're going to hit the atmosphere, and the booster is going to come in a lot quicker due to its aerodynamic shape.
03:42Pinky, blue control, report on seats one, two, and three.
03:47Now that booster lands about two miles north of where we broke off.
03:52Copy.
03:53And it will beat the capsule by just a few minutes.
03:55After everything's all said and done.
03:58Yeah, we're currently getting that booster safe and ready for the crew to approach in a little bit.
04:05Oh, and there we have it.
04:06We have the capsule.
04:07There are the drogues.
04:09Those deployed just before the main parachutes.
04:14Again, coming down a little slower than the booster because of its gumdrop shape.
04:19And there go the parachute.
04:20Now, while these parachutes, of course, are essential in providing a gentle touchdown for the capsule, it also has a retro thrust system at the base of the capsule you'll want to look for.
04:37That's when it goes down towards West Texas.
04:40You notice all this dust comes up, but that actually means that it's making a nice, soft landing for our Astros.
04:47Beautiful shot.
04:48All three parachutes deployed.
04:52Parachutes look great.
04:53We're about 1,500 feet above the ground as the astronauts take a smooth, gentle ride back to Earth.
05:02It slows down to, what, one, two miles per hour just before it lands?
05:06That's right.
05:06Yep.
05:09Happy claps.
05:14The astronauts in their seat looking up at those beautiful parachutes.
05:17I'm looking out at those mountains.
05:18I'm looking out at those mountains.
05:18We're taking a live look there at the capsule.
05:25We're taking a live look there at the capsule.
05:25And the hatch is opened.
05:49CN7 Jake Mills there.
05:51All right, there's Dr. Gretchen Green.
05:58We're going to go to the capsule.
