Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim does not believe captain Bruno Fernandes had played his last game for the team, saying after their 3-1 win over Hong Kong in a friendly on May 30 that he had a feeling his captain planned to stay.

The game at Hong Kong Stadium was played amid talk that Saudi Pro-League club Al Hilal are prepared to splash out 100 million pounds for the Portuguese midfielder.

00:00Can I ask you to be honest with your pal-hals approach to Bruno Fernandes?
00:04Of course, Premier League is a completely different world.
00:17I don't think so. I don't know for sure, nobody knows, but I don't think so.
00:22I think he's seeing us taking some actions to change all the things.
00:29And I think that is all that he asks. I think he wants to stay.
00:35He's saying no to a lot of things, but it shows that he wants to win.
00:40And I think he's really young, he's really good, he needs to be on the best league in the world.
00:47Of course, I'm the manager, I'm the coach, but sometimes it's a decision of the player.
00:52But of course, I talk with him, I explain things, and I just have that feeling.
00:57When I talk to someone, you have the feeling if he wants to stay.
01:02Of course, sometimes in a lot of games this season he was so frustrated,
01:06but he knows what we are doing.
01:09So the feeling that I have every time I speak with him is that he wants to continue,
01:13for sure in Manchester United, but you never know.
01:18You are the outcome you are the outcome of.
01:23And I don't want to stop.
01:27And I don't know why I say it's not too sad.
01:30This is the fact that he wants to stay.
