00:00To me, making Jaws was a life-altering experience.

00:06Fifty years, we're still talking about Jaws.

00:09It was the first blockbuster.

00:12This mystical connection between hero and monster.

00:16This started me thinking about a career in movies.

00:21Is there anything that you've never said about Jaws?

00:25I've got Jaws, Jaws, Jaws!

00:27Let's find out.

00:30We were on the real ocean, and we were way out of our element for five months.

00:35And we all began going off the deep end, literally.

00:38Carry on track!

00:38The film was 100 days behind schedule.

00:41And 80% of the time, the shark didn't work.

00:43There was a strong undercurrent that the studio would close us down.

00:48I was terrified I was going to be fired.

00:51But I never once felt like I wanted to quit.

00:55And when the film wrapped, I had a full-blown panic attack.
