00:15And what the purpose of this is is that when the water goes down through this trap that that gray water goes through the trap and it goes out to

00:26What it does is it keeps water right here
00:30At all times and that's to block the sewer smell the stinky from coming inside of the house
00:37So that's the purpose of a trap
00:39So if this goes bad or if doesn't have the right pitch
00:43Then you're probably smelling some bad smell in your house
