00:10who will choose a replacement for SC Associate Justice Mario Lopez, who is retiring.

00:14This will be Marcos' first High Court appointment. Here are the shortlisted candidates.

00:22Manuel Antonio Tijanqui, the Permanent Representative of the Philippines to the

00:26World Trade Organization in Geneva, was not included. He is a bar top-notcher and the son

00:31of the late Chief Justice Claudio Tijanqui. Marcos is expected to announce his decision

00:36when Lopez retires on June 4.
