00:00Hi, I'm Clé Robichaud, director of Two Women, and also a mother of three years old twins, Ben and Mathias.
00:14Two Women is a story about a beautiful friendship, actually, between two neighbors who are both at a crossroads in their lives.
00:22One is on maternity leave, the other one is on sick leave due to a depression.
00:28And we kind of dive into the lives of these two women who are faced with the modern dilemmas of love and motherhood.
00:34And I guess I can relate to that, I think I am actually the target audience of my own film.
00:40I'm even surprised at how much this film has revealed things about myself throughout the process.
00:49Florence and Violette are looking for fun, for sexual freedom, but they're ultimately looking for autonomy and for personal growth.
00:56We are in a time where, you know, couple dynamics are just constantly being redefined.
01:01And I think the film celebrates the importance of getting closer to one's own truth.
01:07I had such a great time making this film. It was honestly the best experience of my career.
01:12We had so much fun and I think you can feel it through the screen. I hope you enjoy.
01:17Ahhhph! Ahhh!
