00:00I'm Brooke, and as our in-house donut snob, I went to the Times Square location of I'm Donut
00:04to see what all the fuss is about. They had a crazy line first thing in the morning and a
00:08security guard to keep out any riffraff, but don't worry, he's super nice. The store smells insanely
00:13good, and the employees have the coolest aprons, and they even have this adorable donut themed
00:17merch. It says don't touch, but I want to touch. I want to touch everything. But obviously I wasn't
00:22there for any of that. I'm very serious about my donut eating business. Yes, we are. I'm still
00:29going to eat that. Am I drunk? I'm embarrassing myself for the internet. That's the career I
00:34picked. I wanted to eat them all, but instead I tried eight different flavors, and my absolute
00:38faves were the caramel espresso cream and the NYBLT. I'm not going to lie, I was a little skeptical
00:44about lettuce on a donut, but the whole thing is so decadent, and I was grateful for a little
00:48bit of extra fiber. I also tried the sake cream, which was very sake forward for 10am, the matcha
00:54cream, and the original powdered sugar donut, which were all made with a super soft and airy
00:58brioche style nama dough. It's literally like eating a lightly sweetened cloud. They also have
01:03an NYC exclusive vegan ring donut collection that includes my third favorite flavor, the pistachio
01:07white chocolate. The ring donuts were super light and airy, and they had this insane hard yet soft
01:12glaze on the outside. It was the perfect creamy texture. TLDR, the donuts slap. They're full of
01:18flavor, but not too sweet, too big, or too expensive. The thing I really fell in love with is the fact
01:22that when they pack the donuts up, they use this little wedge to prop the box up and keep the donuts
01:27from smearing all over the place. That's the kind of attention to detail that gets me every single time.
