00:00hola again and welcome back to the channel richard back again with another unboxing video

00:23and today it's the new blu-ray audio release of dire straits brothers in arms this is a sde exclusive

00:32from their website um so i'm excited to check this one out so let's get it unwrapped so this has just

00:40come out uh this past week friday uh it's arrived yesterday so it's available in a clear keep case

00:48from them and it's 11 mil thick um high fidelity pure audio as the top says so let's have a look at the

00:56back so for brothers in arms from dire straits this is the track listing and the audio on this features

01:06a 2022 dolby atmos mix it's uh also got a 2022 dolby atmos instrumental mix uh 2005 dts hd

01:175.1 mix 1985 cd version stereo mix and a 1985 vinyl version stereo mix

01:30let's look at the bottom uh from emi

01:35okay so this for me um replaces my 20th anniversary edition which was a sacd

01:47um always enjoyed 5.1 surround sound dvd audio and super audio cd releases

01:56and so i think we got the same nine tracks one two three four five six seven eight nine yep

02:02and this had uh sacd stereo and an sacd surround track uh the 5.1 surround on this was by

02:15mark knopfler and chuck inlay

02:24oh well fine we're missing tommy the who disc and matt's in there

02:30uh just quickly show you the flyer in here before we get into the new flyer

02:33this one has an appreciation two brothers in arms and we've got the lyrics which is a nice touch

02:41so that is basically it and so let's see what we've got for this new release

02:53right so there's the blu-ray

02:55a nice little booklet inside we do have lyrics yep um the atmos mix says it's by gary fletcher

03:10sorry guy fletcher

03:16so there's some information about it

03:21so information about the original release it was on a new digital tape format the sony 3324 tape machine

03:29and then in 2022 they did the uh atmos remix so i'm gonna have a good read of that

03:46yeah and for early releases i'll just check if it's a dual layer or a 25 gig might as well uh yeah

03:53it's a 50 gig disc and got some artwork behind uh for ordering quite an early edition from them as well

04:01you do get this limited edition slipcover um which i will unfold and store uh presently on my

04:10release so yeah blu-ray audio dolby atmos 5.1 and stereo so

04:19and like magic there it is

04:24part of the sde surround series
