From breaking up fights with a stare to outlasting challengers like Tyrant, this shelter dog in China has become a legend, not through dominance, but through presence.
Transcript
00:00okay this might sound strange but one of the most powerful leaders in the world
00:06right now is a dog his name is King Charles lives in a shelter somewhere in
00:12China looks like any other scruffy rescue mutt but the guy has presence not
00:18the loud kind not the aggressive kind just this energy you know it when you
00:23see it so here's what happened a bunch of dogs were fighting in the yard loud
00:27wild everyone losing their mind and out walks Charles slow chill eyes locked he
00:35does not bark he does not run just walks up spots the one causing trouble and
00:40literally steps over their body not a fight not a bite he just walks over them
00:46and the other dog lies down stays quiet the whole pack falls into line like we
00:51just dropped a royal decree and this wasn't a one-time thing there are
00:55compilations now top five King Charles aura moments number three is always the
01:00walkover move he does not act like he's trying to be in charge he just is in
01:04charge and it's not about size either there are dogs twice as big who melt when
01:09he shows up look at him like is that boss like he runs the shelter and honestly he
01:14kind of does but every Empire has that one test for Charles it came in the form of a
01:19new dog named Tyrant larger louder younger Tyrant did not back down he did not bow went straight
01:27for Charles and yeah Charles backed off first time we've seen that people online was stunned
01:32but the pack did not switch sides they did not rally behind Tyrant they waited for Charles to return
01:38and he did Tyrant got removed peace came back not everything's perfect there's still this one guy
01:45called Rocky who's a bit of a rebel still growls still challenges the rules but no one's really
01:50listening to him because the truth is the kingdom still belongs to Charles you know
01:55what I love about this story it's it's not about dominance it's not about being loud
01:59it's it's about holding your space there's something about King Charles the way he moves
02:03the way he handles things you just know he's the leader and maybe that's what real
02:08power looks like I'm Manish Adhikari thank you for watching the culture project and more
