00:00Hello everyone, today I'm going to be reviewing what I think is the best budget car mount for

00:06your cell phone. This one goes inside your vent and I've done a lot of research on this.

00:11Been way too much time browsing Amazon and other websites trying to find the best car

00:18mount that goes in your vent and I believe I found it. So save yourself time, save yourself

00:23energy. I've done the legwork for you so keep on watching. All right, I had three criteria

00:28for the kind of vent mount that I wanted. The first one was I wanted it to be secure. I wanted

00:35it to be stable inside the vent because one of my pet peeves is when you go to pull off your phone

00:40it also pulls off the vent and to me that's just aggravating. The second thing is I wanted it to

00:45be budget friendly. I didn't want to spend $40, $50, $80 on a cell phone mount for my car. And the

00:54third reason is I wanted it to be easy to install and easy to take off. I travel, I rent cars from

01:01time to time, and I wanted something I could take with me that wasn't going to be a pain to take on

01:07and off. Well, I think I found the right one. All right, so this is the Miracase car phone mount,

01:13second generation. I believe that's important because they just updated it. Fitting four inch

01:19to seven inch cell phones. I've tried it on my iPhone 11 Pro and my iPhone 7 Plus, which is bigger

01:25and it seems to fit just fine with plenty of room for even bigger cell phones. If you have a phablet

01:32or some monster cell phone, maybe it won't work, but I believe for 99.9% of cell phones this is going

01:39to work. So let's check it out. When you get it, it comes in three simple pieces. You have the part

01:45that goes into your car. You have this tightening plastic nut here. You have the actual mount.

01:53So you just snap that right on there and tighten this guy up.

02:03There we go. And that's it. It's ready to be installed. So how this works is you extend this

02:11part. So unscrew that. And then this part right here latches onto the vent and then you tighten

02:21this up and then this part will squeeze in on the back of the vent, making it nice and snug. So it's

02:30a pretty clever design and I have found it to work really well. So let's put it on. All right, so we'll

02:36make sure that this clips on back and we're going to put clip this part on first. So we're going to

02:42put it in there. We're going to clip it. We're going to clip it in there and then we're going to tighten

02:49this part up until that's nice and snug. And that seems nice and snug. All right, so there you go.

03:02The Miracase car phone mount second generation installed. So Honda Prius. And just so you know

03:09that these vents are kind of angled and it still works out fine. I tried this on my Buick and the vents

03:16were straight and it worked fine on that too. So I imagine it's going to work on almost any car.

03:22And then you just throw your phone up on there. You cinch it up and it's nice and secure. It's not

03:28going anywhere. I've been over a lot of bumps and it's fine. And then there's a release button on back.

03:35Just hit that. Grab your phone and go. Put it in. Cinch it up and go.
