00:00Leeds United have announced that they are to play a pre-season friendly fixture against AC Milan at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin in early August.
00:10This will form part of Leeds' preparations as they look forward to competing in the Premier League next season following their triumph in the Championship going up as champions.
00:19Before the final game of the season, Daniel Farker already looked ahead to Leeds' preparations for playing in the top flight of English football and what would need to be done to make sure that they are ready to compete at that level.
00:34And for that, there is a bit more time needed in order to discuss also all these processes and to be then all on the same page because before we can allow ourselves also like to have a bit of time off.
00:46But the time off means also for our manager and also for the people in the background, not just holiday and just relaxing.
00:55It's more like hard work in order to make sure that we have a competitive Premier League squad.
01:00So for that, especially in the next week, we'll need a few more meetings but we're on a good way and everything that we've spoken so far is on a good way and I'm optimistic.
01:12Bradford City manager Graeme Alexander has said that the Bantams will have to box clever.
01:16In the transfer window when trying to bring in new players, however, he has already praised those at the club following the season they had.
01:24Honestly, I've just been a part of the team, part of the staff, part of this club.
01:29I've really felt it, I've really felt it for a long time.
01:32I felt the depths, you know what I mean?
01:34Because it's been some really tough moments last season, midway through this season.
01:40But I knew when we got our players back fit that we had a really good squad and a really good team.
01:46But yeah, as you get to know and you get into the fabric of the club and what it means to everybody, it's more than just a football.
01:55It's a football game.
01:56It's more than a medal around your neck.
01:59It's relationships, it's emotions that are going to be there forever.
02:02These players, these staff members are going to be a part of this team forever.
02:06In 10 years, 20 years, 30 years, people will talk about this because here at Valley Parade, what the players have done has been ridiculous.
02:13It's been amazing.
02:14It's been amazing.
