00:57Most expeditious means
00:59The DOJ did not confirm or give further details about the supposed arrest
01:03Tevez is accused as the mastermind in the assassination of Negros Oriental Governor Roel DeGamo
01:09DeGamo's widow, incoming Congresswoman Janice DeGamo, said Tevez's re-arrest was a significant step in their quest for justice
01:16She noted that nine other people were killed besides her husband
01:20Tevez was first arrested in Timor-Leste in March 2024
01:23But was released when he won his appeal against extradition
01:26President Ferdinand Marcus Jr. says Tuesday, May 27, reconciliation with the Dutertes shouldn't come with conditions
01:35You don't put conditions to reconcile
01:39But he told me that he doesn't want to ask you aandrun
01:41He doesn't want to apply this
01:43He doesn't do this
01:45And that could please
01:46That's not reconciliation.
01:49If you're sincere, you want to reconcile, let's sit in front of you.
01:53What's the problem? How's this going? Let's remove the problem.
01:59Marcos earlier said he was open to reconciling with the Duterte clan.
02:04Senator Bong Go, a longtime aide of former President Rodrigo Duterte, then said,
02:08Duterte should be brought back from The Hague before any reconciliation talks.
02:12Meanwhile, Marcos also continues to distance himself from the impeachment of Vice President Sara Duterte.
02:17I didn't want impeachment.
02:20Lahat ng kakampi ko sa kongreso hindi nag-file ng impeachment complaint.
02:29Yung mga nag-file ng impeachment complaint, hindi mo masasabing kaya kong utusan o pagsabihan na ito yung gagawin mo.
02:36While Marcos's closest allies did not file an impeachment complaint,
02:40several of them signed the one filed and approved by other lawmakers.
02:44For example, his son, Ilocos Norte 1st District Representative Sandro Marcos,
02:48and his cousin, House Speaker Martin Romualdez.
02:52The government selects 120,000 minimum wage earners nationwide
02:56to become beneficiaries of the 20 peso per kilo rice program starting in June.
03:02Department of Agriculture spokesman Arnel De Mesa
03:04says the Department of Labor and Employment supplied the initial list.
03:08Those chosen for the program will be allowed to buy up to 10 kilos of rice each month at 20 pesos per kilo.
03:14However, it is still unclear how the rice will reach them.
03:17De Mesa says authorities are still finalizing the system, including distribution.
03:22He adds the government-run Food Terminal Incorporated
03:25has allotted 500 million pesos for transporting the rice to beneficiaries.
03:29This move expands an existing program that allows vulnerable sectors,
03:33including indigents and senior citizens, to buy rice at that low price.
03:37DA Secretary Francisco Chu Laurel says for now,
03:41the program is limited to workers from companies that have expressed interest in the pilot program.

04:06which killed 138 people during that year's Peña Francia fluvial procession in Naga.
04:11The declaration of martial law soon after the incident complicates the search for survivors.
04:16Buendia plays a father in search of his missing son.
04:19Bicolano filmmaker Jen Romano directed the all-Bicolano cast
