Longcroft, Falkirk. Cumbernauld Road at the junction of the A803 Glasgow Road. Police Scotland renewed appeal for missing teenager Cole Cooper by Chief Inspector Alex Hatrick, local area commander.

00:00So since police received the report of missing person Cole Cooper, 19 year old male, on the 9th
00:05of May we've had a dedicated inquiry team to make all efforts to trace Cole and reunite him with his
00:10family. Today officers are deployed on the ground and continue to search for Cole. We've got a
00:16police licensed search officers out looking, we've got our mounted branch out checking local paths
00:21and bridleways. We've got officers continuing with house-to-house inquiry and CCTV trawl.
00:26Today we've obtained over a thousand hours of CCTV which we continue to work through and review to
00:33find any additional sightings of Cole. The last sighting of Cole remains on Wednesday the 7th of May
00:38on Glasgow Road to Longcroft about 8.45 pm and I would just encourage any members of the public
00:44that's been in that area around that time to check their CCTV dash cam footage or any information they
00:50have about that time to contact police via 101 or submit it via online portal or we've got an
00:57incident welfare van here deployed here today and it will be deployed over the coming days to come
01:01and speak to the officers and provide any information they have. We've continued our house-to-house
01:06inquiries, we've visited over 200 homes and that inquiry continues today and we've had specialist
01:12officers deployed also to assist with the search for Cole along with our national divisions
01:16as well to support the search for Cole.
