00:13Deepika penned a heartfelt note on her Instagram handle, narrating her difficult journey.

00:18She wrote, As you all are aware, last weeks have been quite difficult for us.

00:23Walking into the hospital for a pain in the upper area of my stomach, and then finding

00:28out it's a tennis ball-sized tumour in the liver, and then finding out that the tumour

00:33is second stage milligant, that is cancer.

00:37It has been one of the most difficult times we have seen experienced.

00:45Deepika shared that with her family's love and everyone's prayer, she is certain that

00:49she will sail through this challenge as well.

00:52I am all positive and determined to face this walk out stronger.

01:12Earlier in May, Deepika's actor husband, Shoei Vibraim, revealed a health update through

01:17his YouTube channel.

01:18He revealed that Deepika is not doing well.

01:20She is suffering from serious stomach issues.

01:23When I was in Chandigarh, Deepika started having stomach pain.

01:27Initially we thought it was due to acidity, but when the pain did not go away, we consulted

01:31our family doctor.

01:33He put her on some antibiotics and suggested some blood tests.

01:36When we visited him again, he asked us to do a CT scan and it showed that Deepika has a tumour

01:42in the left lobe of her liver.

01:45It is bigger in size, like a tennis ball.

01:47It was very shocking for us, he added.

01:50Deepika is scheduled to undergo surgery for her tumour soon.
