'It's everything': How UAE preserves every plant, seed for 100 years

00:00now here in a the center dedicated to preserving the plant species in the

00:04natural heritage of the UAE we have more than 600 plant species in the UAE

00:09documented more than 450 are in Abu Dhabi. What we do in the center is

00:14preserve different types of plant species different plant genetic

00:18resources such as seeds, tissue, cultures, live specimen in the center.

00:23What we do here is take it through different modes of cleaning, sorting,

00:28بيوبanking them in the seed bank or in the cry preservation.

00:33We have herbarium, fungarium,

00:35different modes to ensure that we preserve the plant species and the natural heritage

00:39for the current generation and for the future generation.
