Those French have a temper ... even at the highest level, because the country Prez got smacked right in the noggin by his wife, and it's become something of a scandal.

00:03Napoleon, Joan of Arc, Inspector Clouseau,

00:06and, of course, Brigitte Macron, who just did this!

00:11Mon Dieu! You got some French-splaining to do, Brigitte!

00:14French President Emmanuel Macron took a two-handed push to the face.

00:19By his wife!

00:20He's getting off of a plane in Vietnam, just landed.

00:23You see him in view, the shot is just of him,

00:25sort of slightly blocked by the door of the plane.

00:28You see the two hands come up.

00:30And those hands gave him le face shove,

00:32to which Monsieur President looked a little stunned.

00:35His face dropped.

00:36And he looked surprised, shocked.

00:37He then turns, sees the cameras,

00:39and immediately goes into politician mode, straightens up,

00:41composes himself, smiles.

00:42And smiles.

00:43But how do we know it was Mrs. Macron who pushed him?

00:45Well, the person was wearing a red jacket.

00:47And then you see Mrs. Macron come into view as well,

00:50wearing a red jacket, so it's clearly her.

00:52Clearly her.

00:53After initially dismissing the incident,

00:55Macron told reporters they were just having le fun.

00:58Well, they said it was jokey.

01:00It wasn't jokey.

01:01Definitely wasn't jokey.

01:02It's like, everybody wants to know what happened.

01:04Tell us what the joke was that inspired her to do that.

01:07I called her a lying whore and she punched me.

01:10Anyway, the only thing that can make this better

01:12is if someone butchered up the French language describing it.
