The Otley temporary footbridge has opened to the public, with works now able to start on the replacement of the main footway.

01:09Leeds City Council have said some disturbance and inconvenience are inevitable but disruption will be kept to a minimum.
01:16Earlier in the year, this 10-minute video was shared showing how the temporary bridge will be installed, along with how the old walkway will be taken down.
01:25It goes on to show how the new walkway will be attached to the ancient bridge before the temporary bridge and worksite are removed.
01:32Mill Lane will continue to be closed for vehicles through to November, although there is still access for the car park of the Adlington House Retirement Apartments.
