Transcript
00:00And it is the Aussies who are leading and they now take the whole shot.
00:10Yeah, I'm Dylan Fletcher, driver on board Emirates, GBR, SailGP team.
00:33Super excited to have a home event back in the UK and to be in Portsmouth on the 19th and 20th of July
00:39is going to be fantastic. There's grandstands with 20,000 people hopefully cheering us on with the British flag.
00:45So we're really looking forward to the home event and hopefully we can put on a good show.
00:59Yeah, so I'm Fiona Morgan, the Chief Purpose Officer at SailGP.
01:03And a bit about me, I love the ocean, I love sports and I love the planet.
01:08And so, yeah, very excited that we're back here racing in the UK.
01:12It's been a few years, but it's so exciting, I suppose, to bring, I live in the UK,
01:16to let my kids see the racing fastest, most adrenaline-fuelled racing on water.
01:21You have to see it to believe it. These boats fly through the water and they're powered by nature.
01:283.8 times the wind, no motor, all wind.
01:31So it's an incredible, great family day out, lots of fun, it's entertainment by the water.
01:36You can see the boats and it's so close to shore, it's not offshore like a lot of the sailing.
01:58And it is amazing. They're going nearly 100 miles an hour powered by the wind.
02:02I think people can't believe the engineering and how nature can make these boats fly.
02:08There's lots of boats in the race course, so we have 12 teams and there's lots of crashes.
02:13It is very dramatic. They're flying, turning, there's men and women on the boat, which is a big thing.
02:18So we have female athletes, one female athlete per team.
02:21So we're one of the only sports in the world that can actually have men and women racing together.
02:26And it's just an incredible entertainment product, it really is.
02:29And I do think it's like Formula One in the water.
02:56The original hat has canceled.
02:57Ukrainians So it's the perfect stuff, it's a huge piece.
02:58And I do think everyone owns a lovely ride.
02:59And some poor person on the boat, and I don't mind losing protection.
03:01And some people have been out there with the flying company.
03:02Nothing else is runningobile.
03:03And some Japanese patients're watching.
03:04And some people haveär confirms trying to see their self-like city as well.
03:05As long as they can partner with the blue spots, their friends, people have Paterson and sailors Newer.
03:06And some people have seeniska and this stuff like catch something.
03:07Because I think they're in the rain, they're gonna want to harvest.
03:09But somehow they're looking for the line with it.
03:10And some people have t・ bit-a-like assembly
03:11You can Ginny withids, they're falling Daar.
03:12T- griefs, and that are all but they're won.
