00:18I was waiting for you Baba
00:20You look so excited!
00:22Yes Baba, I really wanted to know what happened to the Prophet.
00:27Did the people throw him in fire?
00:29What happened to him?
00:31Haha! Alright, I will tell you the rest of the story now.
00:35Listen carefully!
00:37Bismillah
00:43Prophet Ibrahim and the Great Fire
00:50When people realized that it was Prophet Ibrahim who had destroyed the idols,
00:56they were really angry.
00:58They decided to burn him in the biggest fire anyone had seen before.
01:02First, they dug a deep hole to put the firewood.
01:07They gathered all the wood they could find and started building a fire.
01:11The people kept adding the woods for days and days and the fire grew stronger and stronger.
01:19It is said that the fire grew so strong that no one could go near it because of the heat.
01:25It was so tall that not even the birds could fly above it.
01:29Many people heard about this huge fire in Babylon and traveled to the city to witness this phenomenon.
01:38Then one day the people tied the hands and feet of Ibrahim and placed him on a catapult,
01:45so that he could be thrown into the fire.
01:50It was then an angel from heaven appeared before the Prophet and asked him if he wanted any wish to be granted.
01:58The Prophet could have easily asked the angel to save him from the fire, but he did not.
02:03I only wish for Allah to be pleased with me, he said.
02:11What followed was a miracle.
02:13When the Prophet landed in the fire, the fire suddenly got cold.
02:20It only burned the ropes that tied the Prophet.
02:24And no harm came to the Prophet.
02:30The Prophet sat there amidst the fire, as if he was sitting in a garden.
02:36He sat there and sang praises of Allah.
02:40The people couldn't see what was happening, so they waited for the fire to finish burning.
02:46And finally when the fire went out, the Prophet walked out of the fire with not a single burn in his body.
02:54The people were shocked to see this.
02:57This was a miracle!
02:59The God of Ibrahim must be the true God, some of them said.
03:03But most of them were still angry with the Prophet for destroying the idols.
03:08They decided to take the Prophet for a trial to the King's palace.
03:13The soldiers came and arrested the Prophet, and took him to the palace of King Nimrod.
03:19He was taken to the palace with his hands chained.
03:22Nimrod had heard that the Prophet had shattered the idols he worshipped.
03:28Tell me why you smashed the idols we worship?
03:31He asked the Prophet.
03:33They were false idols, they were not God, replied the Prophet.
03:37Then who is the true God? Nimrod asked.
03:41The Prophet politely replied,
03:42There is only one true God, Allah . He gives life and death.
03:49The King got angry when he heard the Prophet.
03:53He stood up angrily and said,
03:54I can give life and death too.
03:57Wait and I will show you.
03:59He asked his soldiers to bring two of his slaves to the court room.
04:04He asked the slaves to kill the first one.
04:08The guard on hearing the order, struck the sword and killed one of the slaves.
04:16You see, I can give death, said Nimrod proudly.
04:21Now kill the other one too, said Nimrod to the guard.
04:25But before the guard could strike the slave with his sword,
04:30He asked him to stop.
04:33He then shouted to the guard,
04:35Don't kill him, let him live.
04:38He then turned to the Prophet and said,
04:41I can give life too.
04:43You just saw that.
04:45The Prophet replied,
04:47Allah makes the sun rise from the east.
04:51Can you make the sun rise from the west?
04:53Can you do that?
04:55Nimrod was speechless.
04:56He was really angry with the Prophet for confronting him.
05:02Prophet Ibrahim called the people to worship Allah for a long long time.
05:11There were nobody willing to listen in Babylon,
05:14except for one man and a woman.
05:17The woman's name was Sarah,
05:19and later she became his wife.
05:21The man's name was Lut,
05:23who would later become a prophet as well.
05:27After years of calling people to Allah,
05:31the Prophet realized that nobody else was going to listen to his words.
05:35So he decided to migrate to another country.
05:39He wanted to spread the message of Allah in another nation.
05:43The Prophet then asked his father to join him,
05:47but he refused.
05:48The Prophet, the woman, and Lut then started their long long journey.
06:00They traveled through Syria, Palestine, and Egypt,
06:05calling out the people to Allah .
06:07They helped the poor they could find on the way.
06:09And they did many good deeds that made people happy.
06:17In the meantime, the Prophet Lut migrated to the Dead Sea and settled down there.
06:24And after a few months, the Prophet married Sarah.
06:29She was a good believer, and they wanted to have children,
06:32who would spread the message of Allah after their time.
06:36The Prophet and his wife traveled again for many days through the desert.
06:39One day, they happened to enter the territory of an evil king.
06:46The evil king came to know about the beautiful wife of the Prophet,
06:51and he wanted to take her.
06:53So he sent one of his soldiers to bring the Prophet to him.
06:59The soldier brought the Prophet before the king.
07:03Who is the lady accompanying you?
07:06Ask the evil king.
07:08The Prophet replied that she was his sister.
07:11The evil king then asked the Prophet to bring Sarah to his court.
07:16He said that he wanted to meet this beautiful woman
07:19that everyone in his kingdom was talking about.
07:24The Prophet went to his wife and said,
07:26The king wants to meet you.
07:28Do not ever tell him that you are my wife,
07:30because I have told him that you are my sister.
07:33The Prophet told his wife.
07:36When Sarah went to the king's palace,
07:38the king was struck by her beauty,
07:40and he tried to take hold of her with his hands.
07:45But the moment his hand got near Sarah,
07:48it became stiff and he could not move it.
07:52The king was scared and he requested Sarah,
07:55Please pray to Allah for me and I will never harm you.
07:59When Sarah prayed to Allah,
08:02his hands got cured miraculously.
08:05But the moment he realized that his hands were cured,
08:09the foolish king tried to take hold of Sarah again.
08:13And for the second time, his hands got stiff.
08:16The king couldn't move his hands at all.
08:20Please pray to Allah for me.
08:22I shall never harm you again, said the king.
08:26Sarah prayed to Allah again and his hands got cured,
08:29for the second time.
08:32This time the king realized that Sarah was no ordinary woman.
08:37So he gave Sarah a gift.
08:38He gave her one of his Egyptian maid servant,
08:41and her name was Hajar.
08:45When Sarah returned home,
08:47the Prophet asked her what happened.
08:50Allah taught that evil king a lesson,
08:53and he gave me, and he gave me a maid.
08:56Hajar replied Sarah.
08:58Years passed and the Prophet grew old.
09:05His hair grayed.
09:08But he continued to call people back to Allah .
09:13Sarah too had grown old,
09:15and she realized that she would no longer be able to give birth to a child.
09:19So she asked the Prophet to marry their servant Hajar.
09:26She then prayed to Allah to bless them with a child.
09:34After a few months, Hajar gave birth to a child,
09:37and they named him Ismail.
09:43By now, the Prophet had grown very old.
09:48One day the Prophet woke up.
09:51He felt like Allah wanted him to do something.
09:54So he went to Hajar.
09:57Get Ismail, he said.
09:59Get ready for a long journey.
10:01Ibrahim and his wife, with the baby in her arms,
10:07kept traveling for a long long time.
10:11They walked for many days till they reached the dry valley of the desert,
10:15near the Al Marwa mountain.
10:20There were no fruits, no trees, no food, and no water either.
10:26No signs of any life could be found in the valley.
10:31The Prophet then left his wife and son with a small amount of food and water.
10:36This was hardly enough for both of them to last for two days.
10:40The Prophet then turned around and started walking away.
10:46His wife hurried after him.
10:48Where are you going?
10:50Leaving us in this barren valley!
10:52She cried to him.
10:53But the Prophet did not answer her, and kept walking away.
10:58She called him again, but the Prophet remained silent and walked away.
11:03Finally she understood that the Prophet was not acting on his own.
11:08She realized that Allah had commanded him to do this.
11:12Did Allah command you to do so? she asked him.
11:15The Prophet shook his head and continued walking.
11:24Then his great wife said,
11:27We are not going to be lost,
11:29since Allah who commanded you is with us.
11:32The Prophet was very sad,
11:35as he had left his wife and his son
11:38in a barren desert,
11:40where there were no other people.
11:41He prayed to Allah to give his wife and son enough food.
11:48And he asked Allah to send people with good hearts to them.
11:55Oh no!
11:57Why did the Prophet leave his wife and son?
12:00Why did he do that?
12:01It was because Allah had commanded him.
12:05What happened next?
12:07I will tell you the remaining story tomorrow.
12:10Ok Baba.
12:12Before I leave, let me ask you a few questions.
12:15Are you ready?
12:17I am ready.
12:18Now tell me why was the Prophet thrown into the fire?
12:22Here are the options.
12:24Option A, because he had smashed the idols they worshipped.
12:28Option B, he stole their idols.
12:31And Option C, he bared the idols.
12:34That's an easy one.
12:36The Prophet was thrown in fire,
12:38because he smashed the idols the people worshipped.
12:41Masha Allah, that's the right answer.
12:44Thank you Baba.
12:45How did the Prophet challenge King Nimrud?
12:49The Prophet asked the king if he could make the sun rise from the west.
12:53Isn't that right?
12:55That's right again.
12:57Now tell me who accompanied the Prophet when he left Babylon.
13:01The Prophet's cousin Lut joined him.
13:03And another believer Sarah too accompanied him.
13:07That's very good.
13:09What was the name of the Prophet's first son?
13:12It was Ishmael .
13:13Masha Allah, that's right again.
13:17It's time for me to leave.
13:19In sha Allah, I'll tell you the remaining story tomorrow.
13:43How was his therapist?
13:44How was the prophet to have the body?
13:45How was his therapist in the world?
13:46What is his therapist in the world?
13:48I've been a kid, but it was a kid.
13:49I've been babbling all the way through his life.
13:51When she's a kid, I've been first.
13:53So, she's not the wife, that's right.
13:55She's not the only one who's been in the world.
13:57So, she's not the one who's been in the world.
13:59What did she ever hear the world?
14:01I was in the world.
14:03She's like, I'm going to have a card.
14:04She's like, I'm going to have to go out.
