00:2122 year old Vidhya Shree runs a successful beekeeping business she

00:26started with just five beekeeping boxes and now produces litters of pure honey

00:32every year with five hundred boxes

00:38the beekeeping just hearing about this profession made me fall in love with it

00:43I didn't think much just jumped right in if you see beekeeping as a source of

00:48income it's a vast opportunity

00:51and the time it takes to manage is very little raising goats and cows needs a lot

01:03of care vaccines medicines and proper food but for bees just flowers are enough you

01:09can collect honey every month

01:19earning a profit of 10 lakhs per year Vidhya Shree now teaches farmers in Namakal

01:24Tamil Nadu about the importance of beekeeping and also helping them earn

01:29I have been farming coconuts for the past eight years I joined this beekeeping

01:41group after I found out about this interesting work whenever I have doubts or

01:46questions I contact Vidhya Shree and get her help sometimes the boxes get affected

01:52by fungus insects or ants when that happens I reach out to her we don't check the

01:58boxes daily only once every week or 10 days so she supports me by giving useful

02:04I don't know I think in a shot or cut up being other than I am but you know so

02:09you could take on so honey collect honey from these boxes and supply it to other

02:16states too in the beginning I earned just rupees 5,000 a month but now I earn

02:22rupees 50,000 to rupees 60,000 per month and I am really happy

02:2750 to 60,000 a gram and no one the peri wishy market now we are going to find the

02:33queen bee from this box

02:36apart from honey people from andhrapradesh and bengaluru are also buying these boxes we are exporting

02:46them there too I saw changes within a year people are interested in natural products if we meet

02:52their expectations we can truly succeed in this business because people in the
