Taiwan's defense ministry says it spotted 34 Chinese military aircraft, nine naval vessels and one official ship operating near the country in a 24-hour period ending Tuesday morning. All of the 34 aircraft entered Taiwan's air defense identification zone, or ADIZ, the most daily incursions for the month of May.
