00:02We're also testing the world's strongest laser,

00:05melting through metal with my finger,

00:07and making a giant flaming rocket.

00:09Starting with level one,

00:10we're gonna make a mini rocket at home.

00:12This is 99% rubbing alcohol.

00:15Just a little bit, you just want to coat the sides.

00:18We drew a hole in the middle of the bottle cap.

00:20This might break some things, but three, two, one.

00:24Oh my God, that's crazy.

00:32And that was just level one.

00:33Later in the video, we're making a flaming rocket

00:36that's gonna fly 10 times higher,

00:38a giant smoke cannon, and so much more.

00:42On to the next level.

00:43This next experiment is called the fire tornado.

00:46I need you to rip this sponge into small little pieces

00:50and put it in this container.

00:52Don't need this no more.

00:53Now, this is a can of butane,

00:56which is lighter fluid.

00:58Light it.

01:01We're adding our fencing to allow air to flow

01:04in a circular motion.

01:05And once we spin it,

01:07it creates a giant tornado effect.

01:09It's a nice little tornado effect.

01:12And if we put a balloon over it.

01:17Oh my God.

01:19On to the next experiment.

01:20Next, we have two aluminum can experiments.

01:22For the first one, we just need some drain cleaner.

01:25Stuff you can buy at the hardware store.

01:27I'm gonna fill this up.

01:28Now, as my assistant, I need you to sand this Coke can.

01:34That's pretty good.

01:34Now we've sanded off all the labels.

01:36Oh, we're gonna put this in.

01:39It's like instantly dissolving.

01:41That's crazy.

01:42Up next is aluminum can versus gallium.

01:45So the special thing about gallium is the fact that when it comes in contact with any aluminum surface,

01:51it will melt the aluminum.

01:53We can put the gallium on top.

01:55Why don't you spread it around?

01:57We'll need some time for the melting process to happen.

02:04This next experiment needs to be done in the car.

02:07We'll just start with some Elmer's glue.

02:46This next experiment is a carbon sugar snake.

02:50It's just a mix of baking soda and sugar.

02:53What I need you to do is pour the rubbing alcohol.

02:56We want to pour this very concentrated.

03:00Ready?

03:01One, two, three.

03:02Carbon sugar snake come alive.

03:06So the sugar and the baking soda is now reacting with the fire.

03:10As the mixture burns, the carbon dioxide gas is getting trapped inside,

03:15which is making the sugar come alive.

03:18What are you gonna name your monster, Hafu?

03:25Cool thing about this, you can actually touch it after.

03:27It feels like a croissant.

03:29Yeah.

03:30You can like peel it open, spread it open.

03:34All right, on to the next experiment.

03:36This next experiment only involves a simple egg.

03:38This is what happens when you drop an egg normally.

03:42It breaks, as expected.

03:43But when you put an egg and soak it in vinegar for two days, this is what happens.

03:49Our egg is now see-through.

03:51And what happened here is the acid in the vinegar has actually broken down the hard parts of the eggshell,

03:57which became these bubbles.

03:59This is a before, and this is an after.

04:01Now, what's left in the pack is a membrane inside, so the egg is actually bouncing.

04:08Look at this.

04:09That's so cool.

04:10Let's make a bet.

04:11Loser has to eat this.

04:13Make a bet on how high you think this egg can bounce without breaking.

05:10So when the flame blows out, there's actually leftover wax in the smoke.

05:14That's why when you add heat, it will relight on fire.

05:17This next experiment is called fire suction.

05:20So I'm going to need your help later.

05:21First, we're just going to light this candle.

05:23Pour a little bit of water around it.

05:26I said a little bit.

05:27Place this on top.

05:28Place a glass over it, which is going to create a suction once the fire dies out.

05:32And while we wait for the fire to die out, I'm going to solve this Rubik's Cube

05:36so we can test the strength of this suction.

06:42Our trick is we're going to use this inside of the bottle.

06:47All this water will instantly go into the bottle once I light this.

07:03When we're sucking, it needs to be a little wet for it to be fun, right?

07:09Next experiment.

07:11So now we're going to make a dry ice bubble maker, all right?

07:14When we put dry ice in water, it starts a reaction.

07:20We're going to now screw on the cast and then stick the tube in.

07:25Not too far though, just a little bit.

07:27And we'll just tape it.

07:31Dry ice bubble.

07:36It's bouncing.

07:37We're dipping the tube into a dish soap solution.

07:40The dry ice smoke gets trapped in the dish soap, which starts to form a bubble.

07:44And our goal is to make the biggest bubble we can.

07:54I'm going to show you how to make elephant toothpaste with just grocery store ingredients.

07:59All you need is some yeast, hydrogen peroxide, which is for wounds,

08:02an empty bottle, dish soap, and food coloring of your choice.

08:06So first, we just pour the hydrogen peroxide in here.

10:55So how this works, it's literally just a cup and a balloon attached to the back.

11:01To see if it actually is working, let's light it on fire.

11:04Why does every experiment involve fire here?

11:07Because fire is cool.

11:19So what we can do is actually we can just burn a little paper and it will become a smoke cannon.

11:29We can aim and fire it.

11:31So we got bottles set up over there.

11:33Whoever knocks down the most number of bottles wins.

11:36And the loser has to drink lemon juice.

11:39We get three shots each, okay?

11:41Okay, I'll go first.

11:45Need to aim it a little lower.

13:24And in order for you to see this, we need to turn the lights off.

13:28First, we're going to squeeze the hand sani onto our surface here.

13:33Spread it around.

13:35And then wet our hands so we don't burn ourselves.

13:38And then, last step, a little bit more of hand sanitizer on our hands.

13:42Let's watch the magic happen.

13:57All right, now it's time for the final experiment.

14:00We're going to use everything we've learned and combine it into a butane rocket.

14:04What does that even mean?

14:05A butane rocket.

14:07So butane, when it's combined with coke, it will react at such a fast pace

14:12that it becomes rocket fuel.

14:14As my assistant, I need you to hold this.

14:15Yep.

14:16Wait, let me think about this.

14:17I don't want to blow you up.

14:20So what I'm doing is I'm just letting the butane now into the coke bottle.

14:24We now have butane in this container.

14:27It is kind of smoking outside, as you can see.

14:29Can you see that?

14:30We're going to see how this goes.

14:31One, two, three.

14:34Okay, we didn't have enough butane in there.

14:36Okay, so what we're going to do instead, we're first going to fill up this coke bottle with

14:40only butane, and then we're going to pour it into this coke bottle.

14:43On top, we've got a butane layer, and then on the bottom, we've got a coke layer.

14:46Once I flip this over, that's when the reaction will start.

14:50Butane rocket.

14:51One, two, three.

14:52Ah!

14:59Whoa!

15:02Now we've got to do a bigger version of that.

15:04That was amazing.

15:04And on fire.

15:06We only have one shot for this.

15:07We used three cans of butane, and this is a big coke bottle.
