Welsh footballing legend Joe Ledley was one of the special guests at Tenby’s Ysgol Greenhill, alongside former pupil Archie Hughes of the Scarlets to officially open a new 3G pitch at the secondary school. Cymru Football Foundation’s ‘Fit-For-Future Facilities Programme’ supported the development of the new 3G pitch at Greenhill School; with Pembrokeshire Leisure successfully securing a £407,000 grant to replace the old astro turf pitch with a new 3G facility that will enhance the provision for both the school and community clubs. Pupils at the school got a taster by enjoying the first action on the pitch on Friday, May 23, before the half-term holidays.
