Jonny Drury caught up with the Walsall fans after their side were beaten 1-0 against AFC Wimbledon in the League Two play-off final.
In a drab first half, the Saddlers trailed to a goal late in the first half.
In the second they had the two best chances with Jamille Matt and Levi Amanchi going close, but they couldn't find an equaliser.

00:00Oh, what went wrong fella didn't turn up today Walsall?
00:10No, we were too late on every single ball, like we couldn't even...
00:14There was always on the attack, we couldn't defend everything, there was winning everything, it was just terrible.
00:19No, they didn't make their own chances, they played terrible to be fair.
00:23Yeah, yeah, just didn't really turn up to be honest.
00:27I didn't think Wimbledon were that much better, but they just happened to score before half-time and that was it.
00:33That first half, you know, just felt like there was nothing in the game, nothing was kind of happening.
00:37It did spring into life a bit in the second half though.
00:39Yeah, a bit more, but it wasn't like the same, it was terrible.
00:45The whole game, they was on top, we did have a couple of chances, but we just didn't finish.
00:50On the second back, everything looked like the time of the game.
00:54Having nothing in the second half, first half, no chances whatsoever.
00:58No, we just didn't, we just didn't get anything.
01:01You know, disappointing, but, you know, this has been to Wimbledon.
01:05Yeah, you know, back in August if you'd been given play-offs you might have taken it, but how it's gone,
01:10being so far ahead at the top of the table, how disappointing is that to end the season like it has today?
01:16Terrible. In my opinion, we did so well at the start of the season, we just blocked.
01:20Because at the end of the season, we lost points and then we got open up by Fort Vale and everyone.
01:26And then we had to, we did good against Chesterfield.
01:28We won both games in the playoffs, good.
01:30And then in the final, we did absolutely terrible.
01:32We just, we didn't, we were in a hard game tonight, but hopefully next season we'll get up there.
01:39Very, yeah, yeah.
01:41Mild-haired in the beginning, not mid-season. Mild-haired.
01:44It's a shame we didn't keep Nathan low in January.
01:46Yeah, and I know Matt Salah's had a lot of flack for, you know, losing that lead at the top,
01:50how it's gone 12 games without a win. You know, what's your opinion on him?
01:54Should he be here next season? And what's your opinion on the future?
01:57I'll give him another chance, but I think he needs to, the book club is how it is.
02:03He makes the changes as well, right and late. So, it's not really a good option, really.
02:10But keeping the one more season as well.
02:13I'd go for next year. You know, I don't think we need wholesale changes.
02:18It'd be nice, it'd be nice to keep Tommy sinking.
02:21It would be nice if they could get Nathan low back with a full year commitment from Stoke.
02:30And we go again. You know, it's disappointing, but, you know, we go again.
