Ever wanted a concrete patio in your backyard?

Well, let us tell you a secret.

You don't really need to hire a crew to do it.

You can just build it yourself.

So we started by outlining the space that we want with wooden boards.

These are going to be our borders.

Then we took some cement bags and put them in the middle.

And here comes the trick.

We can just open and pour them out on the ground like so.

You don't need any fancy equipment.

Then we just need to trowel it everywhere so that the surface is flat and not disproportioned.

Now we need to add this rebar net to it since it helps the cement resulting in a stronger and more durable structure.

We only need four more bags to cover the metallic net and then we can move on to the solidifying step.

And here's another useful trick.

Take a wood board and apply pressure to the surface to make it flat and even.

Once the surface is completely wet, the cement will start to become solid.
