Dua Protection from Poverty and Humiliation

00:00The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam has said,

00:02Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal faqri.

00:05Oh Allah, I seek your protection from poverty.

00:08Protect me from poverty.

00:10Walqillati.

00:12And from having very little.

00:15So, I'm not poor, but I've got very little.

00:18Oh Allah, I seek your protection from poverty

00:20and from having very little.

00:22Wal dhillati.

00:23And from being disgraced.

00:25Oh Allah, protect me from disgrace.

00:26Wa a'udhu bika min an adhlima.

00:30And I seek your protection from myself

00:34oppressing someone, doing wrong to someone

00:36or anyone doing wrong to me.

00:39Beautiful.

00:40So, that's the dua.

00:41Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal faqri.

00:45Walqillati.

00:46Wal dhillati.

00:48Wa a'udhu bika min an adhlima.

00:50Oh Allah, I seek your protection from poverty,

00:54from having very little,

00:57from disgrace.

00:58And I seek your protection from me wronging someone,

01:03doing something wrong to someone,

01:04oppressing someone,

01:06or someone else doing wrong to me.
