00:01But I will tell you a story.
00:11There once was a man.
00:14And he had two sons.
00:17And to the first son one day he said,
00:19Go and work in the vineyard.
00:23And the son said no.
00:25But afterwards he thought better of it.
00:27And he went.
00:29Now the man said exactly the same thing to his second son.
00:33Who said certainly.
00:37But he didn't go.
00:41Now.
00:43Which of the two boys did his father's will?
00:46First.
00:48Second.
00:53Yes, the first.
00:59And what is the meaning of this story?
01:04That there are those who think they are righteous because they say yes to God.
01:09But they do not do his will.
01:13John the Baptist came to you in righteousness.
01:15But you didn't believe him.
01:17Even when you saw that there were sinners who believed and refused.
01:19Love your enemies.
01:20Bless those who curse you.
01:21Do good to those who hate you.
01:25Pray.
01:26For those who persecute you.
01:27If you love only those who love you.
01:28Why should you claim any credit?
01:29If you love only those who love you.
01:30Why should you claim any credit?
01:31Even the tax collectors do as much.
01:32Even the tax collectors do as much.
01:33If you love only those who love you.
01:34Why should you claim any credit?
01:35You, even the tax collectors do as much.
01:36If anyone strikes you on the right cheek.
01:37No.
01:38Well, no one, no one.
01:39Why should you claim any credit?
01:40You, you, you know, and give you a lot of money.
01:41You're not only the wrong money.
01:42You are a lot of money.
01:43And I have to take a lot of money.
01:44Not to save you.
01:45I am the council.
01:46But you are to live alone.
01:47Who will be a lot of money.
01:49If you are to live alone.
01:50Thank you, good to all of you.
01:51You will have to live alone.
01:52If you wanna live alone.
01:53I have to live alone.
01:54You will also be in your family, good to live alone.
01:55My spouse.
01:56Don't live alone.
01:57Now, you will be in your family.
01:58I have a couple of
02:00characters.
02:01If anyone strikes you on the right cheek, offer the other also.
02:12And if anyone takes away your coat, give him your cloak as well.
02:20Give to everyone who asks from you.
02:25And if anyone takes away your goods, do not ask for them back.
02:34Do not do to others anything you would not have them do to you.
02:41Pass no judgment, and you will not be judged.
02:47Condemn not, and you will not be condemned.
02:52Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
02:58What Jesus is trying to tell us.
03:00Jesus' teachings in the Bible are all about how to live a life that truly pleases God.
03:05He doesn't care about fancy words or pretending to be holy.
03:08What matters is actually doing what God wants, showing love, being humble, and helping others.
03:14Two stories from the Gospel of Matthew explain this perfectly.
03:16The story of two sons, Matthew 21 28-32, a father asks his sons to work for him.
03:24One says no but later does the work.
03:26The other says yes but does nothing.
03:28Jesus says the first son is the good one because he acted, even though he messed up at first.
03:33The Sermon on the Mount, Matthew 5-7, Jesus gives rules like love your enemies and don't judge others.
03:39These rules show us how to live like God's family.
03:43Let's break this down in everyday language.
03:461. The story of two sons, actions speak louder than words.
03:50Matthew 21 28-32
03:53What happens?
03:55A dad asks his two sons to work in his vineyard, a farm with grapes.
03:59First son says no way, but later changes his mind and works.
04:03Second son, says, sure, dad. But never shows up.
04:09Jesus asks, which son actually obeyed his dad?
04:13The answer, the first son, the one who did the work, even after saying no.
04:18What this means?
04:20Jesus told this story to criticize religious leaders who acted like they were perfect but ignored God's message.
04:24Meanwhile, people everyone hated, like cheaters and prostitutes, listened to God's prophets, changed their lives, and became better.
04:33Lesson for us today.
04:35Don't just talk about being a good person. Be a good person.
04:39Saying I believe in God means nothing if you're mean, selfish, or unfair to others.
04:44God cares more about what you do than what you say.
04:47What this means for us today.
04:49Jesus' teachings are meant to shake us up. Here's how to live them.
04:52Check your heart.
04:54Are you like the second son, saying the right things but doing nothing?
04:58Or like the first son, messing up but trying to do better?
05:02Love when it's hard.
05:04Forgive the person who hurt you.
05:06Help someone who can't pay you back.
05:08Listen instead of arguing.
05:10Small steps matter.
05:12You don't have to fix the whole world.
05:14Start with being kind to one person today.
05:17Final thought.
05:18Jesus isn't asking us to be superheroes.
05:21He's asking us to be real.
05:22Stop pretending.
05:24Start loving.
05:25Do good, even when no one's watching.
05:28That's how we change the world, and that's what truly makes God smile.
05:31He's asking us to be loved by.
05:37He's going to be too poor.
05:38He's going to be a good thing.
05:40Felicity for the future.
05:42To be continued...
05:44Cript storyteller.
