00:00Hello everybody, good morning. My name is Ariana and I am the great niece of George Floyd and my uncle means so much to me and I love him and when I say George, you say Floyd. George. George. George. Thank you, my uncle changed the world.
00:16My name is Sherita McGee. I am the first cousin of George Floyd and I like all of my other family members remember like yesterday when everything happened. It was overwhelming for us as a family to experience such a great loss and have, you know, the world watching us as we went through the grieving process. One love for everybody across this world. We're going to stand as one nation, not just here, but people around the world walk for George. We need to get everybody.
00:46Because no matter their ethnicity, they walk for George, they march for George, they kneel for George. They say, get your knee off my neck. And my sister who just kissed me, that's actually, that was George's favorite sister.
01:01You use George Floyd, his life and his death to symbolize the pain, lawlessness and brutality that had been long ignored. And we gave him his rest here in these grounds.
01:18Even in these times where the sunshine of movement has now been in many ways obscured by the clouds of those that would change what was accomplished. We cannot in any way be deterred. We're going to keep on fighting.
