00:00I think that role is critical and fundamental.
00:04I think part of the ideas of Cuba is to extend to other countries in the region what it has to help those countries to become better.
00:15That is the solidarity that we speak about.
00:18It is a solidarity that is important because I think the more we cooperate with each other, help each other, that would actually help us to become stronger and more resilient countries, help our people to live better lives.
00:35And so the Cuban scholarship program where opportunities are extended to children, especially children of the working class who many times would not have the opportunity to go to a university because their parents may not have the resources that allows people from the working class to develop and to advance.
00:56And then it also allows that particular country to build its human resource so that those doctors in this particular case can go back to their various countries and treat and take care of their people.
