00:00overnight I was thinking
00:01about not watching the second half
00:03to be honest
00:05to be able to come from 3-0 down
00:06to go to 3-0
00:08and winning penalties
00:09was something
00:10that I'll never forget
00:17after 3-0
00:18and with all the things
00:19that were said before the game
00:21Milan probably
00:22the favourite
00:23and stuff like this
00:24looked like the game is decided
00:26then it became then one of the
00:27biggest football sensations ever
00:29I was actually on the treatment table,I had a big bag of ice on my groin
00:33and I remember hearing a roar
00:35and I was like okay
00:36and then I remember the doc coming and he goes oh look we just scored
00:39I said oh okay
00:40and I was sitting next to Steve Finnan as well
00:42and then next minute we heard another roar
00:44and we're like what's going on now
00:45obviously there must be 4-1 or something
00:48and he's come, the doc's come back in again and said
00:50oh we just scored again
00:52and we're going what?
00:53oh my god,fantastic
00:55and next minute we hear another roar
00:57we're like no way
00:58and then he's come running and goes we've only got a penalty
01:00and right at that moment I think me and Steve Finnan just ripped all our ice bags off
01:04and we actually hobbled out there
01:06and we actually just saw Alonso put the rebound in for the goal
01:10I kind of knew there was something special about this game
01:13when Shevchenko volleyed the ball from three yards out
01:18and Jersey Dudek saved it
01:20when you saw that you just think of hang on a minute
01:23this could be something now
01:24to be able to see my team
01:26do something you know miracle
01:29in the world of football was nice to be a part of
01:32for all of us
01:33it was a privilege to be part of that moment
01:36not only for because we are Liverpool supporters
01:38or because we play in that game
01:39it's because if you like football
01:41that was probably one of the best matches in the history of football
01:45I can tell you that I have at home a lot of pitches
01:48with the fans 750,000 fans around the coach
01:51was massive
01:52people in the lamps
01:53people in the roofs
01:54and the bridges everywhere
01:55I was really happy that I didn't switch the telly off
01:58and watch the whole game
