00:21Yeah. I did see the set up half of it but it looks pretty cool. The carpet? Yeah. Blue carpet.

00:38I'm so excited even though it's my first premiere. I'm a little bit scared but I

00:45also am happy. I guess I just have like that confidentness inside of me. I need

00:51to believe in myself first. What are you most excited for? Probably seeing

00:55everybody again. Even though I saw them like yesterday I still miss them. We

00:59actually made an Ohana on the cast. Ohana means family. Family means nobody gets left behind.

01:06Now what artists are you listening to today to get you pumped up? I was listening to

01:11Bruno Mars, Die With A Smile and Olivia Rodrigo Deja Vu.

01:18Here's my outfit for tonight. I'm going for like a tea leaf skirt or some people call it like a grass skirt.

01:27So I'm trying to go hula vibes and I'm going to have some nice big earrings.

02:57her on-screen sister, Cindy Agudong, and her dates, Mom and Dad.

03:02I just want to give a big, big shout-out to my mom.

03:05I see a lot of the cast members. I'm so excited to see Zach Galifianakis.

03:10Maya's the same age as my youngest kid.

03:13She is a darling human being. And I usually don't say it about kid actors.

03:18But she's, she's the best!

03:20You know what it is? It's her family. It's her mommy and daddy.

03:23So she's completely supported.

03:26When did you know that she was the one?

03:28Oh, like immediately. Can you imagine?

03:30Can you tell me what your name is?

03:31Maya!

03:32When she walks into a room, it lights up and she immediately had such a spark and such a talent, obviously.

03:38But then also she really took to a real work ethic in trying to craft this performance.

03:43She didn't even know how to read when we first started shooting.

03:45So she was learning her lines by like audio tapes. We would record her lines and she'd listen to them.

03:50And then by the end, of course, she's this incredible professional actress.

03:53She is Lilo! I don't know how they found a girl that is exactly who Lilo is in the animation.

04:02She is a little nutty. Delightfully nutty. And she has a spirit that Lilo has.

04:13She was meant to do this part.

04:15Well, when you have someone being number one on the call sheet, like her, showing up every day.

04:20She works more than anyone. She'd show up with a smile and a hug for you.

04:23And it reminds you, like, it doesn't have to be this serious.

04:27I'm always going to be with her and I'm checking in on her.

04:30He's so cute and fluffy.

04:32He is your responsibility. Got it.

04:35Yeah.

04:36This has been a surreal experience and I'm really, really grateful for every single second of it.

04:39Lilo & Stitch is really, really special because it's a movie about finding out where you belong

04:44and creating a family whether or not it's blood or it's someone that you just meet.

04:49You create your own family.

04:50I'm hopeful for a sequel and at the same time, we're family.
