01:14No, I think the good thing is Flem, Ritu and MS, they really… they've got a clear idea
01:22of what went wrong and what needs to be done, so I think the road ahead is quite clear, so
01:28which I think is a real positive.
01:29The middle order has been quite a concern in terms of batting, you know, it has been up
01:35and down, many people have come in and others have gone out. So does not having a settled
01:41middle order resulted in this position in the table?
01:45I think, yeah, everybody knows that the season hasn't gone as what we wanted. It's not only
01:51about the middle order. Cricket is such a complex game that one has a catapult effect on everything
02:01else, so I think it's just not about the middle order, it's just about how we have played the
02:06whole year and how the results have gone. So it's very unfair to put a finger on any one
02:11specific thing, but the good thing is, as I said, we're very clear on the road ahead, so
02:15I think that's a real good positive going forward.
02:18Are your youngsters likely to kind of make their debut here at Ahmedabad? And the other
02:25thing is, Urvil Patel, have you been kind of grooming him for the next wicketkeeper of
02:31CSK?
02:32No, I think Urvil is an amazing talent. We've seen that he's such a fearless cricketer, he's
02:38really got fast hands, and being a keeper obviously helps. So I think whether grooming him to be
02:45the next cricket keeper is still a long way off, but I think as a batsman he adds value
02:49to this side, and I think he's had a very good start to the IPL. He's just two games
02:54old, so we really don't want to hype him up as well, but all we know is a phenomenal talent,
03:01and he's got a very good future ahead of him.
03:08So Sai Sudarshan just got his maiden call-up, test call-up for India, you've seen him very
03:12closely. What do you think of Sai Sudarshan, the test player, and his well deserved test
03:18call-up?
03:19Oh, I think he's an amazing player, there's no doubt about it. His work ethic, the way
03:24he's really blossomed as a batsman in the last 24 months, I think it's phenomenal, and if
03:31we look at it from a purely Tamil Nadu point of view, I think it's great for our state that
03:36a boy of that caliber is coming up the ranks, and I just really can't wait for him to make
03:42his test debut and make our state and the country really proud. I think he will end up as one
03:47of the best ever batsmen TNS had.
