00:23Este va a volver a volver a más de 50 años de overregulación de la industria.
00:28La verdad, America has always, American greatness has always come from innovation.
00:32And we were very innovative.
00:33We led post-World War II in all things nuclear.
00:36But then we've been stagnated. We've choked it with overregulation.
00:40Sir, this next executive order is intended to reform the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
00:45You heard a few of the people here speak about the complex regulatory processes
00:49that have really held the nuclear industry back.
00:52Before 1978, there were 133 reactors built in the United States.
00:57Since 1978, only two new commercial reactors have come online.
01:02That's because of overregulation.
01:04And the goal of this executive order is bringing that regulatory process into line
01:09with the actual needs of the industry and public safety
01:12with an end goal of quadrupling the amount of nuclear power production
01:16in the next two and a half decades.
01:18Fantastic.
01:19It's exciting, right?
