00:00And here we go, it's the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Oklahoma City Thunder
00:05as we welcome you to the Western Conference Finals presented by AT&T.
00:13The NBA playoffs, it's down to four teams remaining as we welcome you to Oklahoma City.
00:19They've had some stormy weather recent days, but a beautiful evening to kick off this riveting conference final.

00:37And that means two things. Things are going well and everybody's healthy.
00:43So they're set to go here to begin the third round of the NBA playoffs.
00:47And each round, Richard, the adrenaline just has to keep increasing as you get ready for game one of a conference finals.
00:52The NBA at Minnesota, they're just so psyched up to get back on the court as they wrapped up their series with Golden State last Wednesday.
01:02And both these teams have been playing some great basketball.
01:04The Timberwolves 8-2 in the playoffs as McDaniels knocks down the first shot of this series.

11:36Honestly, it felt like we were a bit rusty which we shouldn't be we're missing layups free throws
11:42We just we just needed to keep being aggressive trust our work
11:46We got downhill the lab starting to fall started making shots. We started getting stops defensively
11:51We're out and running and playing our basketball
11:53How much of this game was just this game one was just about figuring things out?

12:24Yeah, we we had to be aggressive with him obviously is a very physical player a talented player
12:29Try to make him uncomfortable. That's what you try to do with great players
12:32And we did a good job of in the second half
12:34You want to be a really good team you got to do it all 48 minutes

12:39Anthony Edwards zero points in the fourth quarter. Just what were you guys doing defensively against them?
12:47Same thing as Julius nothing different really good players. You got to make them uncomfortable. You gotta try to get in the airspace
12:53And try to take away their strengths. You know, this is a game about adjustments despite the wind
12:57What do you have to do differently better game two?
13:00I'm gonna keep that a secret and not let the world know so they don't see it, but we know we got to do
