00:0014-year-old Arushi Talwar found murdered in her house in Noida's, Chalvayu, Bihar.
00:05Guptang means that it means that it has been made with her human relations, or that it has been tried to make it.
00:12So no one killed Arushi yet again. A controversial murder case dies once again.
00:18Arushi's parents didn't kill her. This is what the Allahabad High Court says.
00:22On 16th May 2008, Arushi Talwar, the only child of two dentist's parents, became a permanent fixture on primetime television, not as a daughter, but as a headline.
00:40She was found murdered in this very house in Noida. Her throat slit, her head bludgeoned.
00:46Within hours of the murder, the media descended, and so did a stop of speculation and endless headlines.
00:52But 17 years on, no one knows who did it. Justice, still a question mark.
01:02Recently she said that if she is physically present, she will always stay with us.
01:08And she also said that she loved all of us.
01:11She was also going to come to her birthday.
01:12She was also going to come to her birthday.
01:13On Sunday.
01:14On Sunday.
01:15Well, I'm음...
01:17...
01:27...
01:31It was a lock. It was not a lock. It was a bolt.
01:34The maid servant comes to the door.
01:36The maid servant comes to the door.
01:38He knows that he's going to go to the door.
01:41But when he comes to the child,
01:44the child has fallen on his bed.
01:47He has cut his head from his head.
01:50And he's a knocker guy.
01:52When I saw the other room,
01:55there were blood stands.
01:58And the blood stands, his trail,
02:01he has fallen on the door.
02:06And he has fallen on the door.
02:09And then he's finished.
02:11The first person was the husband and wife.
02:13Dr. Rajesh Thalwaar, Nupur Thalwaar,
02:15he said,
02:16look, he killed him.
02:19He killed him.
02:20He killed him.
02:21He killed him.
02:23He killed him.
02:26I went home alone.
02:28I was all living with the house.
02:30I was all living with him.
02:31He never did anything.
02:32We were alone.
02:33We were all living alone.
02:34They never tried to do anything.
02:36I did not try to do anything.
02:38The police tried to do anything.
02:39The police did not try to do anything.
02:40The police also said,
02:41when the house is a servant,
02:42what do you need to do to investigate?
02:43The dead body took him.
02:45They took him.
02:46The whole family started to do everything.
02:48But the very next day,
02:50on May 17, 2008,
02:52Dr. Rajesh and Nupur Thalwaar's
02:5445-year-old full-time Nepali domestic help,
02:56Hemraj's body was found on the terrace,
02:59murdered in the same way.
03:01Two people killed in the same house
03:03and no clear answers.
03:07Dr. Rajesh Thalwaar was arrested
03:09on May 23, 2008
03:11on suspicion of killing Arushi and Hemraj
03:13in an honor killing,
03:15but was released on July 11, 2008
03:18due to lack of evidence.
03:20A Khoekri is a traditional curved knife originating from Nepal.
03:21It was believed to be the murder weapon
03:23and was found at the home of Khukri.
03:25A Khoekri is a traditional curved knife originating from Nepal.
03:46It was believed to be the murder weapon
03:48and was found at the home of Krishna,
03:50a Nepali medical assistant who worked at the Talwaar's clinic
03:53and was also a friend of Hemraj.
03:55He was also subjected to a narcoanalysis test.
03:58A pillow cover with suspected Hemraj's blood stains
04:05was recovered from Krishna's room.
04:19During the investigation,
04:20an empty whiskey bottle was found in the Talwaar's home.
04:23The CBI believed it had been consumed on the night of the murders.
04:27The whiskey bottle of Dr. Talwaar was kept on the dining table
04:34that had been shown by the media all over for 2-3 days
04:36with the blood-stained things.
04:38And everybody knew that Hemraj didn't use to drink.
04:41So all these things indicate that the people had come from outside.
04:44Rajkumar, a domestic help of Talwaar's family friend and Vijay Mandal,
04:49a servant in the same society, were initially suspected along with Krishna.
04:53The CBI's theory based on narco tests claimed the trio killed Arushi
04:57after a failed sexual assault and murdered Hemraj as a witness.
05:01But all were later released due to lack of evidence.
05:04They did a brain mapping test.
05:06We were asked by them to do it.
05:08If anything is going to hang those criminals,
05:12we are willing to do it.
05:13I don't care what it is.
05:14They can put me to 500 tests.
05:16As long as the result is that those three men are hung,
05:19I'm getting with it.
05:21There were three children.
05:22They were not seeing them.
05:23They were not seeing them.
05:24They were not seeing them.
05:26They were not seeing them.
05:28They were just that way to get them.
05:30Krishna was just that way.
05:31At that time, they were not eating.
05:33But it was unused.
05:35They were rusted, old people.
05:37They were not using them.
05:38So they were left after that.
05:40All of the people have been bailed.
05:41What do you think is that the CBI's knowledge is bailed?
05:44We respect them.
05:45We are a legal agency.
05:46We will follow the rule of law.
06:02What followed was a chaotic investigation marred by leaked evidence.
06:06The case was handed over to the CBI on June 1, 2008,
06:10due to public outrage and Noida police's mishandling of the investigation.
06:14Aarushi Talbar Hemraj double murder is a saga of incompetent investigators at Noida police,
06:22who did not have even basic ethics of keeping the crime scene secure.
06:28In any case we work in any case,
06:32we see trace evidences.
06:35There is a principle that we call the law-cards principle.
06:40The law-cards principle means that
06:42when any other thing comes to contact,
06:45they will transfer their traces to the other.
06:49That's why we are sealing the scene of crime.
06:53The lead defense lawyer of the case stated that the Noida police cut up Aarushi's blood-soaked mattress and then dumped it,
06:58in a security guards' cabin.
07:12The lead defence lawyer of the case stated that the Noida police cut up Arushi's blood-soaked mattress and then dumped it in a security guard's cabin.
07:24No forensics team, no dog squad.
07:27Even the cooler panel found resting on Hemraj's decomposed body wasn't seized.
07:32The officer claimed it was too heavy to lift.
07:34A bottle of Risky. There must have been the fingerprints on that.
07:38But nobody had lifted it.
07:39And after three days, if you lift the fingerprint, so many people have touched it.
07:42So how can you do that?
07:43An ill-trained, you know, some constable who got virtually a shaving brush to take out some fingerprints.
07:50And he spattered so much of black powder on the fingerprints that even they died.
07:55Again, the blood stain on the pillow cover or in the room of Krishna that was seized by us.
08:02Again, the forensic lab said something different that it got swept with some other piece.
08:08and then it got, didn't get a definitive opinion from that.
08:12So, it's quite unfortunate. It doesn't happen normally. But it has happened in this case.
08:16The double murder case was clouded by wild speculation, with stories and theories constantly shifting as new assumptions replaced old ones.
08:30In this case, many of the CBI team or NOIDA team of NOIDA were Gurdasthan Singh and ADG Meret,
08:38who had a press conference in Gazi, NOIDA.
08:42And from that story, there was a path to this story.
08:46People thought that they had said that it was the story.
08:49So what happened was the story that Arushi had been in the night.
08:53Dr. Talwar had seen them in the night.
08:56They both had a regret and a regret.
08:59This was the first story of the story.
09:01What happened is that Arushi's post-mortem happened.
09:05In the post-mortem, the doctors had no one who had genital organs.
09:13They didn't get anything to do with it.
09:18In the media, there was a report that Dr. Talwar and Rajesh Talwar are all in the high-profile circle.
09:24There is a wide-shape angle of wiping.
09:28And maybe Arushi saw it.
09:31And then Arushi said that I will take a breath.
09:35And then Arushi gave it to him.
09:37Because he saw it.
09:39And now Arushi was born.
09:41I feel like he gave a financial sacrifice for his family.
09:47He was not able to pay for his family.
09:50But with that issue, there was a place that happened to him.
09:55He said that I will not give him.
09:59He said that Arushi is still there.
10:03And he said that Arushi is still there.
10:05And he said that he did not give him anything.
10:07He said that he could not give him anything.
10:08But we can talk about the door.
10:09So he went and opened the door and opened the door.
10:11And there was an altercation.
10:13And he took the door and took the door.
10:15And he killed him.
10:17And he killed him.
10:19Now he killed him.
10:21And he thought that Arushi was seen.
10:24And he killed him.
10:25And he killed him.
10:26The second CBI team took over the Arushi Talwar case in September 2017.
10:27The second CBI team took over the Aarushi Talwar case in September 2009.
10:56Unable to clearly identify the killer, they filed a closure report leaving the case in limbo.
11:16The CBI's 2010 closure report said there was insufficient evidence to charge anyone
11:21in the Aarushi Hemraj murder case but did not rule out the Talwar.
11:26It noted the crime scene was clean and there was no forced entry, pointing to insider involvement.
11:32A Ghaziabad court rejected the report and ordered a trial against the Talwar's.
11:38In November 2013, the Talwar's were convicted by a special CBI court in Ghaziabad and in
11:51October 2017, the Allahabad High Court overturned the verdict and acquitted them.
11:56The judges ruled the evidence was insufficient and the CBI's case was full of contradictions.
12:02You have no blood evidence on the stairs going up to the roof, not even a single droplet of a
12:08man as heavy as Hemraj.
12:10What does that suggest?
12:12That the man was never dragged, rather probably he walked up.
12:16How did, you know, the Allahabad High Court division bench debunk the CBI charge on this
12:23count?
12:24The Talwar's walked free, but the mystery walked with them.
12:44In March 2018, the CBI challenged the acquittal in the Supreme Court and in August, the Supreme
12:49Court admitted the CBI's appeal but never overturned this acquittal.
12:54Nobody has been charged for that particular case and the matter is pending in the Supreme Court.
12:59So, let's wait and hear what the highest court of the land is to tell about our CBI.
13:05Now, here are two perspectives to the case.
13:07Legally, the case is resolved.
13:08The Talwar's faced trials, sentenced to life imprisonment but later proven non-guilty from
13:14a legal standpoint.
13:16But from an investigative standpoint, no one else has ever been charged or proven guilty.
13:21The case according to me is closed.
13:25So, maybe there is a case of the case of the Arushy's case that doesn't even remember.
13:31But this case will remain alive until the end of the decision is not.
13:35And for one question, are the case of the Arushy's father's mother's father?
13:39Many people say that the Arushy and the Hymraat are taking the Dr. Rajesh Talwaran and Nukul Talwaran.
13:43I'm not saying that if they are the case of the two men,
13:47So then I became the best actor in my life.
14:17Till today no one knows who killed Arushi and Hemraj, the case remains officially unsolved.
14:22But why does it matter after 17 years?
14:24It was a case that exposed everything wrong with our justice system, from botched investigations,
14:29to media trials, from assumptions over evidence, to judgements made in living rooms before courtrooms.
14:36What do you think CBR land here, in this case?
14:40Obviously there were issues, there were no doubt there were a lot of issues.
14:43But beyond all that, it was the story of a young girl robbed of her life, her dignity and her truth.
14:51So from which way, the police first gave us character assassination of Arushi.
14:58I think that the city was very bad.
15:01Arushi never got justice, and Hemraj, a domestic worker, was often forgotten in headlines.
15:07He never even got his story told.
15:09This is why we remember.
15:11Arushi! Arushi! Justice!
15:16This whole country is a man, a wealthy girl, and his father will take it to the mother,
15:22and his father will take it to the Nukuru Thalawar.
15:23I've never seen it once again.
15:26This is the story.
15:27The other part, this is also.
15:29This is the story of a personal and emotional thing.
15:31I don't know you and you don't know that at home,
15:34at home, at home, at home, or at home,
15:37they are still no longer.
15:38Who can prove that?
15:40Who can prove?
15:41Or who can prove that?
15:42Or not?
15:43I have to come here, I have to come with you,
15:48This is my mother's love,
15:50I am here to love you,
15:52I am here to do my master's prayer.
15:56I am here to do your prayer,
15:58You are my heart,
16:00I am here to do my first love.
16:02Your first love is my first love.
