British fisherman Paul Lines has launched a scathing attack on the new EU-UK fishing deal, accusing the Labour Government of telling "bare faced lies" to the fishing industry.In comments to GB News, Lines expressed outrage at the recently announced 12-year extension of fishing arrangements that will allow European vessels continued access to British waters until 2038.READ THE FULL STORY HERE

00:24done the so-called brexit deal where after 2025 and 26 we negotiate them going us having our seas back
00:33and controlling our destinies from great britain the independent coastal state that we're meant to be
00:39how do you think they feel that they've invested this money in new gear new boots new processing
00:44facilities only to be told hang on the dutch french will be hoovering up that fish for another 12 years

00:58state with no teeth we've got no guts left in us and we've got fools in parliament who talk in these
01:05soundbites and they lie barefaced here and think you're going to be stupid enough to believe anything
01:11they say well quite honestly that's a travesty what they've done they they don't care they don't know
01:18what they're doing and my opinion is they've got to make sure and ruin fishing so badly and tie it up
01:25and stitch it up so that any government that try and follow this mess of a government we've got can't
01:31do it that'll fail for them as well and i'm sick and tired i'm like every fisherman in great britain
01:37and i'm not buying that oh you can sell your shellfish well that's a very small part of fishing
01:43you know i'm absolutely lost for words to what the hell is going on in that parliament if this is
01:51even legal martin well paul you know they they would like to believe that you'd be happy about

02:08who devised this brexit deal he says that as part of this you can now sell your crustacean and
02:14mussels crabs uk crabs uh along with other other fresh products into the eu and you couldn't do it
02:20beforehand and they say that 12 months 12 years now means you've got certainty for 12 years rather
02:26than the year-on-year negotiation of quotas is that make sense or not no but not at all that's
02:32absolutely utter squitters we'd say here in norfolk because the 70 percent we're exporting now how do
02:40you think that get there but just get on a lorry they buy and that go over there all that messing
02:47around at border posts what they've done to have a little kick against brexit in the first place
02:53that's all gone by by the boy people are exporting shellfish well shellfish ain't all efficient
