00:06game heist and then that big street chase i'm sitting there and i'm locked in and all of a

00:13sudden i'm listening to the score and it's like wait a minute that's shakedown isn't it shakedown

00:17coming on and then boom shakedown comes on and i'm just i'm i'm loving it i'm digging into it

00:25did you get that specific when you were writing your script or was that something that sort of

00:30no 100 i did i did have i did have places where they were where i suggested needle drops i was

00:38like look if it were me i may um but listen uh that um that that sequence that really that sequence in

00:52that movie works because of mark malloy because of the director because mark approached this movie

01:01in a very specific way you know i had a um i had a thing an opening there were there were snowmobiles

01:09and there was like a and they and they took the snow plow out onto like the the river in detroit

01:16was frozen over and then chase goes out there and then it cracks and the eye people are falling it

01:21all it was over the top more like a bad boys kind of thing and um and mark was like nope nope nope nope

01:28nope i don't i don't want because he's like this is all going to be cg stuff i don't want that i want

01:33i want to be able to do everything in camera and he did um and and you can feel it and and it works

01:40because it's a movie that could have come out you know 40 years ago oh yeah no you you feel the

01:46practicality in this every step of the way like i'm not thinking like especially with uh

01:52with taylor page in that bmw being suspended by that tow cable like i sometimes i like to pick

01:59stuff apart like that but i'm watching it and i'm just i'm not questioning it this is reality that i'm

02:06seeing here yeah i love that there's been a swing back to getting back to practicality and getting to

02:13sort of balance that sort of thing out with these really big ideas yeah it was it was good i mean

02:18i think look mark i think is i think this is his first movie mark's a guy i i mark's a guy people

02:26will still be talking about in 10 years i i guarantee it guarantee it
