00:00Thank you, Madam Chair, and thank you for your leadership on this committee.
00:06For decades, elements in our government have engaged in an extensive cover-up to subvert
00:10the will of Congress and to keep the American public in the dark relating to the assassination
00:14of John F. Kennedy.
00:15No matter how ugly it is or how inconvenient it is to elites, organized crime, or deep state
00:20bureaucrats, the American people deserve the truth, and they can handle the truth.
00:26While the American public still may be in the dark, poll after poll may clear the cover-up
00:30has failed.
00:31Approximately two-thirds of Americans still don't buy the official narrative from our government
00:36that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone.
00:39Cover-ups and a failure to be transparent has rightfully bred distrust.
00:43So much distrust, nearly 40 percent of Americans believe the United States government was involved
00:48in the assassination of JFK.
00:51Let that sink in.
00:53Nearly 40 percent.
00:54This task force working alongside President Trump is working to use sunshine as a disinfectant
01:00and give the American people the pure, unvarnished truth they deserve.
01:06Mr. Hardway, thank you for being here to all of our witnesses today.
01:10You worked for the House Select Committee on Assassinations, which investigated the assassination
01:15of JFK.
01:16You had first-hand interactions with the CIA as you worked to get the truth.
01:19Based on what you witnessed, do you believe the CIA engaged in a concerted effort to cover-up
01:24certain facts related to the assassination of President Kennedy?
01:27Yes.
01:28Do you believe the efforts to obstruct congressional investigations into the assassination of
01:33President Kennedy by the CIA, you've described a violated federal law?
01:38People more expert in federal criminal law than I am have expressed that opinion to me and
01:44have expressed that opinion under oath.
01:46Based on what you know, what relationship, if any, did the CIA have with Lee Harvey Oswald prior to the
01:52assassination of President Kennedy?
01:54Based upon the circumstantial evidence of record, and it is overwhelming, they had a, and either, they used him as either a witting or an unwitting agent of influence.
02:06Seems that way, doesn't it?
02:07Seems that way, doesn't it?
02:08Did you believe, do you believe there is evidence to suggest that the CIA was using Lee Harvey Oswald
02:13in active intelligence operations shortly before the assassination of President Kennedy?
02:18Yes.
02:19Dr. Curtis?
02:20Yes.
02:21Good afternoon, sir.
02:22Good afternoon.
02:23You were one of the physicians who treated President Kennedy at Parkland Memorial Hospital after
02:33he was shot.
02:34You were better situated than almost anyone to see President Kennedy's physical condition
02:40when he arrived at the hospital.
02:42And yet you've said, I can't reconcile my knowledge of what I saw with the findings of the government,
02:48is what you said at the time.
02:50Yes.
02:51In your medical opinion, what do you attribute as the cause of President Kennedy's wounds?
02:58The cause of his death?
02:59Mm-hmm.
03:00The two bullets were filed from the front, called his death.
03:05And either one of them would have the blue and the green bullets.
03:14Yes, sir.
03:15And in your medical, you know, in your opinion, how does this differ from the findings of the
03:20government as to the cause of the wounds to the President?
03:23How did this differ?
03:24Could you say that again?
03:25I'm sorry.
03:26How are your findings that you saw of his condition when he died, how are your findings
03:32different from the government?
03:33How did what the government said happen to John F. Kennedy Jr., John F. JFK?
03:45How did you, how did your medical findings of his death, how were they different?
03:50The government wanted the President to have died from the window, from the bullets filed
03:57from the window, because that would have caused the Harvey Oswald to have done it.
04:03And they went to great lengths to make those two bullets do the job.
04:09And those two bullets did not do the job.
04:13One went in President's back, and the other went into Governor Connolly.
04:20So those two bullets didn't do anything to kill President Kennedy.
04:26Okay, my last question, Dr. Curtis, you ready?
04:30Are the wounds you observed consistent with the government's conclusion Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone?
04:38No.
04:39Thank you, sir.
04:40We thank all of our witnesses who are here today.
04:42Chairwoman, thank you.
04:43And I yield back.
04:45Thank you, Representative Mace.
04:46I now recognize-
