“We could’ve done much more…” Former NSA MK Narayan laud Op Sindoor, shares strategic insight

Kolkata (West Bengal), May 23 2025 (ANI): Former National Security Advisor (NSA) MK Narayanan says, India showed its strength to Pakistan by Operation Sindoor. India could have inflicted much more damage but the Cabinet and PM maintained restrained but made Pakistan understand the gravity of the damage caused.

00:00Operation Sindurna-Hamani, which showed that India has tremendous strength, but it can also be restrained.

00:06That is an important message.

00:08We could have done much more, but the Prime Minister and the Indian Cabinet decided that we'll just tell Pakistan to lay off.

00:16Don't go forward.

00:18We could have carried out many, many more things, and lot more lives would have been lost, I suppose, more so.

00:23But what we are demonstrating is that we are a responsible big power today.

00:28And we are not a frightened power and we will hit back merely because somebody has done something.
