00:00In the vast savannas of Africa, lived a 12-year-old boy named Kofi.
00:07His home was a modest village near the Serengeti, where the roar of lions and the whisper of wind
00:12were familiar. Kofi had a friend, an elephant named Thunder, orphaned after poachers attacked
00:17a herd near the river. Kofi found Thunder bleeding and scared, hidden in the tall grass.
00:25Despite village elders' warnings, Kofi nursed him back to health, feeding him bananas and
00:29speaking softly each night. Over time, a powerful bond formed between them, one of trust, love,
00:35and unspoken understanding. One afternoon, a desperate rider galloped into the village with
00:42a grim message, a notorious gang of ivory poachers was moving swiftly across the land,
00:46and their next target was near. The villagers panicked, especially those who herded cattle
00:52near the forest edge. Kofi's heart pounded, knowing Thunder would be a prize for the poachers.
00:59Without hesitation, he mounted Thunder's back and whispered,
01:02We must protect the others. They thundered into the wild, heading toward the herd that grazed
01:07near the forest. Kofi and Thunder knew every path, watering hole, and whispering tree.
01:14They moved like shadows, silent but swift. As they neared the clearing, the scent of smoke
01:20and the snap of branches reached them. The poachers were already there, closing in on terrified
01:25elephants. Kofi leapt from Thunder's back, grabbed a stick, and waved his arms to distract the poachers.
01:33Thunder charged with a trumpeting roar, his massive feet shaking the ground.
01:38The poachers froze, startled by the sight of a boy and an elephant acting with fearless unity.
01:44One poacher raised a rifle, but Thunder swung his trunk, sending the weapon flying.
01:49Kofi ducked and rolled, knocking over a second poacher with a flying kick, an unexpected move
01:54learned from his older brother. The forest erupted with chaos as the herd began to charge.
02:01The poachers fled, stumbling through the underbrush, leaving behind their gear and greed.
02:07When the dust settled, the herd was safe, and Thunder stood proudly beside Kofi,
02:11both breathing hard but unbroken. Word of their courage spread quickly through the villages.
02:16People came to see the brave boy and his elephant, many weeping with pride and gratitude.
02:24Kofi and Thunder became guardians of the land, not with weapons, but with heart,
02:28courage, and the unbreakable bond between a boy and his elephant.
02:32Their legend grew with each sunset.
