00:04village Jammu and Kashmir on 20 May after a local mosque was damaged due to cross-border
00:08shelling by Pakistan.
00:10The recent shelling caused significant damage to the mosque structure, tearing through the
00:13corrugated galvanized iron sheets of the roof, destroying the solar plate system and damaging
00:18the matting inside the prayer room.
00:20The incident left the local community deeply distressed as the mosque served as a central
00:24place for prayer, reflection and social unity in the village.
00:28In response, the Indian Army stepped in and carried out essential repair work.
00:32Troops fixed the damaged roof, restored the solar energy system and replaced the ruined
00:36matting, ensuring the mosque could once again open its doors to the local population.
00:41The assistant formed part of the Army's broader commitment to supporting border communities
00:45and fostering trust among the residents living in high-tension zones.
00:49Grateful villagers of Ipkot expressed heartfelt thanks to the Army, acknowledging its continued
