00:52Political analysts from Cisinau believe that the high turnout in Moldova
00:56was a response to Giorgio Simeon's aggressive statements.
01:00Andrei Kurararu of the NGO Watchdog.md believes that a victory for Simeon
01:06could have been an obstacle to Moldova's European integration.
01:10In recent decades Romania has pumped hundreds of millions of euros
01:14into Moldova.
01:16Bucharest has also been a steadfast advocate for Moldova's European integration.

01:51It is one of the places benefitting from the financial aid from Romania.
01:55One key project, costing around 200,000 euros or 226,000 dollars,
02:01is the restoration of this church.
02:04The funds have been used to pay for new bells, windows,
02:07and a full renovation of the façade.
02:10The plan also includes the installation of a floor heating system,

02:17Just a short walk from the church is the local stadium,
02:20which is currently undergoing major reconstruction.
02:23So far, the project has cost over 440,000 euros,
