National women's doubles shuttlers Go Pei Kee-Teoh Mei Xing failed to repeat their giant-killing act in the second round of the Malaysia Masters on Thursday (May 22).

They lost to China's Olympic gold medallist Jia Yifan and her partner Zhang Shuxian 6-21, 13-21. The Malaysians slayed Olympic winner Chen Qingchen-Wang Tingge of China 21-19, 21-19 in the first round.
