00:00My gown! I have not seen my first dress, where is my gown?
00:03Oh, Amy, thank you. This is great. Thank you so much.
00:07Okay, I guess this is it. People, guess what?
00:10All of our hard work is about to pay off, right?
00:13Right. And, uh, what'd you say?
00:17That's right. Sebastian wants to say to all of you folks,
00:21it's showtime!
00:25I know that you tried to kill Ava. I know everything.
00:29Whatever you think you know, you're wrong. I can explain. Ava provoked me,
00:34and I wasn't thinking clearly, and I tried to stop her.
00:36Stop! You stop. It doesn't matter why you did it. You did it, and now it can't be undone.
00:44So we just have to cover it up.
00:59I need to go change for our performance. Knock them dead.
01:11Ladies and gentlemen, please help me give a warm welcome to our host this evening, Lucy Cole!
01:23Hello, everybody. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. I'm so excited.
01:29I get to be the host of tonight's celebration of community and contribution. I'm Lucy Cole.
01:39I am so delighted to welcome all of you to the 2025 Nurses Ball,
01:45and I promise you this will be a night you will never forget.
01:59Okay, hi, everybody. Sorry about that. Everything is fine. It's fine. Yes, yes,
02:06we can take it down to Defcon 5, or is it Defcon 1, or whatever it is when there's no
02:10problem anymore. It's gone. So what happened was apparently the stage hand got a little
02:16too close to Sebastian, and llamas are very, very territorial, and now the stage hand...
02:22Well, let's just say he will not do that again. Okay, so yay. All right, moving on.
02:29I just want to share with you that I started the Nurses Ball 31 years ago, and it was...
02:37Thank you. Thank you. It was to raise awareness and to raise funds in the fight against HIV and
02:46AIDS, and it was just this teeny little idea I had, and I thought it would be a one-time event,
02:51but it grew into this storied Port Charles Institution, and I'm very, very proud of that,
02:57and this is what we do. We all get together as a community, and we do it for the greater good,
03:03and I know some of you are probably thinking, eh, we don't have to do so much with AIDS and HIV,
03:09but we really do need to continue to fight the good fight, and so that's what we're doing right
03:13now, and thank you all for being here, and thank you to an amazing benefactor who underwrote the
03:20entire ball, so that means every penny, every dollar, like from the silent auctions, the ticket
03:24sales, all your donations, it all goes exactly right to the cause, so that's tremendous, and thank
03:32all of you. Okay, so what's also very special about these festivities, you're going to get to
03:39see all our fine talent that is homegrown. They're going to show off their stuff. The beloved people
03:45from Port Charles are going to be on this stage, so what do you say? Should we get the evening
03:49started? What do you say? Yes? Okay, so if you save a life, you're a hero. If you save a thousand,
04:03you're a nurse, so I'm so excited to start this evening off by bringing back to our wonderful
04:10Nurses Ball stage the amazing, talented, extraordinary, hard-working, gorgeous medical
04:17staff at General Hospital, because, you know, once again, they prove that angels not
04:23always are wearing wings. Sometimes, they're in scrubs.
04:47Holiday. Celebrate. If we took a holiday. Take some time to celebrate. Just one day out of life. It would be. It would be so nice. Everybody spread the word.
05:17We're gonna have a celebration. All across the world. In every nation. It's time for good times. Forget about the bad times. Oh, yeah. One day to come together.
05:47you
06:17you
06:47you
07:17you
07:48you
07:58I did cover it up, so how do you know about this? Because Lucky is the only person
08:02that knows, and he promised me he wouldn't say anything. Did he tell you?
08:06I talked to Lucky, but it was after I knew the truth.
08:12Okay, well, did Lucky tell you that I never meant to hurt Rick or Elizabeth? I didn't even know they
08:16were in the car. I swear, I meant to cut Ava's brake lines. What the hell difference does it make
08:22whose brake lines you were going to cut? You tampered with a car with the intention of hurting
08:28somebody, and you did. You hurt two people. It's a good thing it wasn't worse. I know it's a good
08:32thing it isn't worse. I feel terrible about this, okay? I haven't been able to sleep. It's all I
08:36think about, and I would give anything to go back and change what I did. I would certainly hope so.
08:43I tried to stop it. I did. I called Ava to warn her, but she didn't pick up, and I was just too
08:47terrified to leave a message. Well, it was a good thing that you didn't because it would have been
08:50another piece of evidence against you. What do you mean another piece of evidence? They don't
08:56have any evidence. Yes, they do. They have evidence. They know what you did, and they can prove it.
09:02Who's they? Who has proof? Ava and Rick, or the police? Ava and Rick. She came to my office with
09:10a video taken from the security camera in her garage of you holding the wire cutters and heading
09:17toward Rick's car. No, no, no. This can't be happening. And it gets worse. They have the car.
09:23No, they can't have the car. The car was destroyed. The car is gone. Lucky checked.
09:27I am sure Ava paid off the impound lot person to say that. They hid the car, and Rick and Ava are
09:34the only people that know where it is, and if the police find that car, they will see that the
09:37brake lines were cut, and you will be charged with attempted murder. Wait, they have evidence,
09:43and they both hate me, but they haven't gone to the police yet. Why would they do that? Why would
09:47they go to you first? Because they're blackmailing me.
09:53I'm so happy that you don't have to go back to the hospital tonight. Well, I did have help.
09:57Stella. Oh, figured. Continue. Well, there's no way those doctors are going to keep me in the
10:02hospital room tonight. Now you can hang out with us for a bit after our performance, and you don't
10:06have to go rush off to see him. No, and you get to watch us in person sing. I can't wait to see
10:12what you two are bringing to that stage. We will see. You should probably warm up.
10:19We will see. You should probably warm up soon. I know. Yeah, it's a little dry.
10:32I'll be right back.
10:37Hey, I'm sorry I'm late. All the roads around here are closed because of the red carpet,
10:41nurses' balls, and traffic was awful. Just glad you made it back, and you only missed
10:44the opening number so far. So what's going on with Granny? She didn't really drug Drew,
10:48did she? I don't know. Mac took over before I could get any new details. Yeah, I know how much
10:53my grandmother hates Drew, but I can't imagine she would ever do anything that horrible. I don't
10:58know. Her Drew anger's reached kind of epic proportions. You can blame her. Guy's trash
11:03with abs. Look, all we can do is let this thing play out. Besides, your grandma can hold her own
11:09against anyone at the station for the next few hours. She's probably actually got everyone in
11:12hiding over there. And Tracy would want you to have fun tonight. Oh, she would. And I have to
11:17be here for Gio's performance. And let's face it, Granny probably has her legal team on it,
11:22so I'm sure it's nothing to worry about. I didn't think you could sink any lower,
11:26but somehow you did. Were you and your high horse upset about now? You being here,
11:32hanging all over Drew, takes a lot of nerve. Well, I am here, and I am not leaving. So is
11:39that it, or is there something else you want to say to me? Yeah, you will never take Michael's
11:45children away from him. Hey, Congressman. Hey. I told you already, it's just Drew. Remember that.
11:52Hi, Trina. Hi. How are you feeling? I'm feeling pretty good, actually. But I just came over to
11:58say thank you again for everything that you've done for me. You do not need to thank me. You
12:02really don't. And by the way, I'm sorry that I wasn't able to be there more after the surgery.
12:07I read about what was going on, and I hope everything's okay. It will be. And I've seen
12:12some of Josh's footage. I mean, that documentary, it's gonna be great. It really is for both of us.
12:18Well, I can't wait to see it. You enjoying yourself?
12:28It's quite something. This time at the Nurses' Ball? It is. Hopefully the first of many.
12:36But perhaps it's the only one you and I will be together at.
12:40What do you mean? You might find it difficult to do business in Fort Charles if Major C passes.
12:46Perhaps you'll relocate to a more welcoming climate. Fort Charles is my home.
12:55Nobody's running me out of here.
13:00Portia, I need you to do something for me. I need you to leave me alone. I just want you to go to
13:07the ladies' room and check on Willow. I'm not answering to you tonight. I am enjoying a night
13:11out with my husband. What happens with my children is none of your business. I am their mother.
13:20Wylie and Amelia belong with me. And what about their father, Michael? You know, the one you're
13:25still married to? Or have you conveniently forgotten about him? You know, out of sight,
13:29out of mind. Oh, I haven't forgotten. In fact, I flew all the way to Germany to talk to Michael
13:34about all of this. He refused to see me. Good. He shut me out completely. I wanted to work things
13:39out with Michael, but he didn't. And it made me realize I can't just sit around waiting for him
13:43to come home. And I've decided that right now nothing is more important to me than moving on
13:47with my life and being with Drew. And I'm not going to let you or anyone else harass us. Willow,
13:52is that you? Are you all right? Oh, wow. There's your hero now. Do you think he's late to come to
13:58your rescue because he and his white horse were off scoring blow? Okay, Jocelyn, that's enough.
14:02Come now. Oh, you're in the ladies room, Drew. Are you looking for another girlfriend? Or
14:08maybe another hooker? I'm sure Willow will help you check the stalls. Have a nice night.
14:19The nurse's ball is such a magical night. It makes you feel like anything is possible.
14:25And how lucky am I to be here with my handsome husband, who I adore?
14:30What's wrong? You're not enjoying yourself tonight? It's kind of hard to enjoy myself
14:35when I know you're not being honest with me. About what? About Drew blackmailing you.
14:43Our next performer has dedicated his life and his passion to music. He was a virtuoso
14:49at nine years old. He is seated first chair in the PCU Orchestra. He combines classical
14:57sophistication with fresh street energy. And I'm excited because it's this very first time
15:02on the nurse's ball stage. Please, please. Warm welcome for Ready, Gio Palmieri.
17:26Ready, Gio?
17:56Ready, Gio?
18:26Ready, Gio?
18:56You were amazing. Every note was perfection. I think it was the best performance I've ever
19:14seen you give and you know that's saying something. Thank you. Thank you. Oh,
19:17you know, I told everybody from the neighborhood to watch you on TV. My phone is blowing up, honey.
19:24You made us all so proud. Yeah, I had fun, but performing is where I miss Bensonhurst the most.
19:31I think it's because I feel so close to my mom when I'm on stage. It felt like she was up there
19:35with me. She would have loved the nurse's ball. Oh yeah, she would have. Lois, can I talk to you?
19:43Everybody, everybody, it is going so great, but we have to clear out this entire area for the
19:48magician's water tank act, okay? And Lois, I really need your help. I mean, like right now,
19:52I need your help now. Chop, chop, chop, chop. Oh yeah, sorry, Lulu. You know,
19:56come. She's chop-chopping already. Sorry, bye.
20:04I knew Gio was talented, but man, he brought it tonight. I didn't know he was that good.
20:08I saw him rehearse that a million times and even I was blown away by that performance.
20:12So did Gio's amazing performance change your mind about him at all? Or do you still think
20:17he's spoiled and irresponsible? Because in my humble opinion, it takes a disciplined,
20:23responsible, hardworking guy to play like that. I thought Gio's performance was, uh, was great.
20:31You're stealing from the Casadine estate from Ace to pay off Rick and Ava. Yes.
20:37I can't believe you're doing this. Ace is suffering now because of me.
20:41Ace will be fine. There's enough money in that account. Won't be able to spend it for
20:45five lifetimes. The real issue is I am now involved in an embezzlement scheme with the
20:49two of them. That's why I saw you guys here. You were talking about this, right?
20:54That's why I need to play by their rules. Because if I don't, I go to prison for embezzlement and
21:00you go to prison for attempted murder. Mom, you're going to get caught. I'm not so sure.
21:05The two of them think they have all of this planned out beautifully. They set out this shell
21:10company so that all of our names will be hidden. But the bottom line is if I go down, so do they.
21:17And that money, it will stop flowing and all three of us will be in jail together.
21:21Okay, but Rick and Ava, they're, they're dangerous and they hate both of us.
21:26You can't trust them. There really isn't another way. No, there is. Uh, we can tell my dad.
21:35Did you talk to Lumps? No, I haven't been able to get her alone.
21:38But you should have seen her face when Gio performed. I know I'm right. I just need to
21:43confirm my suspicions that Dante just watched his son perform and he has absolutely no idea.
21:51So how are you enjoying your first nurse's ball? Absolutely delightful. Delightful.
21:56Miss Ashford, you look beautiful tonight and congratulations to you. Shaping up to be a very
22:08successful event. Nice to see your blood money finally do some good for a change. Enjoy your night.
22:26Hmm. You're right, Curtis. Drew's blackmailing me. Over what? Portia, what's going on?
22:41Brad Cooper figured out that I altered Heather Weber's cobalt levels, which you already know.
22:46But then he started using it as leverage over me. At first he was just asking for a day off,
22:50you know, small things. And I didn't want to tell you because it was a hospital matter.
22:55And I thought that I could handle it myself. You were already dealing with so much at Aurora.
23:00I didn't want to add to your stress. Right. Honey, I was managing it. I really was. You were until
23:09Drew got involved. Yes, exactly. That's when it escalated and it became something much bigger.
23:21How big? I need to hear everything, Portia. Now.
23:29You cannot go to your father. Yes, he's going to. No. Mom, listen. Listen. No. He's going to talk to.
23:34You listen to me. You don't tell him because if you do, he will take extreme measures against
23:40them. And you don't think they've planned for that. If anything bad happens to them,
23:44all that evidence will go right to the PCPD and you will go to jail.
23:48I'm not going to just let them blackmail you. Christina, you're going to do what I tell you to do
23:54because this isn't just about you. I'm doing what I'm doing for your sister, too.
24:00I think we can figure this out. And you know what? I think that we can deal with Drew, too.
24:04I'll be the judge of that. I don't even know what our exposure is here.
24:10And you know what I really don't get is how you could put us in this position to start with.
24:16You don't seem to understand, honey. I didn't mean for any of this thing we've been through.
24:20We got past all the secrets and all the lies only for you to do it all over again.
24:25I didn't tell you because I was afraid of exactly what's happening right now.
24:30It was a hospital issue. It snowballed. And once Drew found out,
24:35it was definitely too late to tell you. I knew that you would be furious.
24:39Well, that's the one thing you did get right. You know, when I found out Trina was my daughter,
24:43you promised me that there would be no more secrets between us.
24:48You promised me that you would always be honest with me. And after all that, here we are.
24:56I meant every single word of that. And I would never keep something from you that affected you
25:01as much as that did. This was a hospital issue and I was trying. You still don't get it. This
25:08does affect me. It affects all of us. This could end your career. You could end up in prison,
25:14Portia. Our whole family. Trina's life. This could destroy everything.
25:25Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. We hope you're all enjoying yourselves tonight.
25:29The Metro Court is honored to be a part of this special evening and proud to be the hosting venue
25:34for such an amazing cause. Now, you're probably wondering why we're standing here instead of
25:38your normal emcee. It is because the incomparable Lucy Coe is about to delight us in the next
25:43performance. So without further ado, let's give it up for Lucy Coe, Anna Devane, Felicia Scorpio.
25:49Oh, hold on. Hold on. Okay. Well, another expect the unexpected nurses ball snafu.
25:55Welcome to the stage. A surprise special guest.
26:08You keep saying you got something for me.
28:38I saw Molly stand up for you.
29:06She stood up for me because of the commitment papers, which
29:10you had those drawn up because you knew what I did, didn't you?
29:13It was a strategy to mitigate any culpability you had for what you did.
29:17Okay. Why don't you just tell me that? Because I was afraid you would tell your
29:21sister or she would somehow find out. And then all of a sudden she would just have a mother
29:27and a sister and a father who are all criminals and who are all in jail and she would be all alone.
29:32Well, he would have had no one. She would also, as an officer of the court,
29:36have to turn you in or look the other way, which would make her an accessory after the fact.
29:42I don't even think about that. Christina, you haven't thought a lot,
29:50but I think about, I think about this all the time. And I think about my girls all the time,
29:58which is why I have to protect you and prevent you from going to prison,
30:02which is why I have to do what Ava and Rick are asking me to do.
30:07I hate this.
30:08No more than I, but you still need to let me handle this.
30:14I don't know if I can. I judged you so harshly for those commitment papers and you were just
30:18doing that to protect me. As if the guilt I felt already over what I did to Elizabeth
30:27and Rick wasn't bad enough. Now I have to live with this guilt too. And I just, I don't know
30:31if I can live like that. I am your mother and it is my job to protect you. This is my choice.
30:42I love you.
30:45I love you too, but you need to let me handle Rick and Ava.
30:51You need to let me do it my way. Do you understand?
30:53Yeah.
30:55I'm so sorry, mom. You're incredible. You know that you're an incredible mother
31:00and an incredible woman. And I'm so lucky.
31:09So what is Drew making you do for him?
31:11He wanted me to get Aurora media to run positive stories about him.
31:18So not only have you been lying to me, you've been manipulating me.
31:21You use my love for you and our marriage to make me play nice with the man who's
31:24been treating me like garbage. And now he's treating you the same way.
31:27I know that it was wrong at the, at that point. I'm trying to protect our marriage.
31:31Protect our marriage? No, you didn't protect our marriage. What you did was keep your mouth
31:37shut for months while first Brad, then Drew blackmailed you. You lied to me because Drew
31:45ordered you to. You left me and our entire family vulnerable. So no, you didn't protect
31:53our marriage. You ruined it. Curtis, please. What kind of marriage can run on lies and
32:02manipulation? Curtis, honey, please don't walk away from me. You can't throw away our marriage.
32:10You guys brought down the house. It was incredible. And Spinelli, listen, I know that you were a last
32:18minute replacement for Tracy and yeah, Tracy was good, but you, you were spectacular.
32:24I have to say it was, it was an honor to be asked, but it initially almost passed because
32:27as I told these three luminaries at the stage, I didn't know the music or the moves and I couldn't
32:31possibly. Well, we weren't going to take no for an answer. And I reminded you, you can't just
32:35Felicia up on the stage by herself or Anna or me. And how can I refuse such a terrifyingly
32:41charming invitation? Yeah, well, we did make you an offer. You couldn't refuse.
32:45Indeed. Well, congratulations to us all. And now I think I need a stiff drink.
32:54Thank you. You're brilliant idea. I really want to thank you because you saved the nurses.
32:58No, it's my pleasure. Now we have to get changed back to our seats because we don't want to miss
33:03another second of the show. Okay. Let's go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go.
33:14Lois, I need to talk to you. Lulu, what is it with you? Can't it wait? We're in the middle of a show.
33:21No, I need to talk to you now. What? There's the guy everyone's talking about. You were amazing.
33:30Yes, absolutely. I got chills. I had tears in my eyes.
33:33Gio, you are a star. Thank you. That means a lot.
33:43Hey, wait. What is this all about, Lulu?
33:51I saw you watching Gio perform. How emotional you were, how proud you were of him.
33:59Yeah, of course I was. He was amazing. Did you not see him? Yeah, he's truly great.
34:08His mother really passed down her music gene, didn't she? Yeah, she did, but Gio did all the
34:15work. I mean, you know, Sonny helped him with his education and his training. Okay, you know what?
34:21I'm going to go watch the rest of the ball and I'm sure Dante is waiting for you. Dante is a patient
34:28guy. He doesn't mind waiting. I mean, it's probably what makes him a good detective.
34:34You don't have to sell me on Dante. I'm already a fan. He's more than that, though.
34:41He's family. So is Gio and Brooklyn, obviously. Yeah, but Lulu, what do you want? I want the
34:54truth. I know Camilla cut her tour short, but not because she was pregnant. I know she didn't
35:01give birth to a son in LA, but I know Brooklyn did give birth to a son with Dante. And that son is Gio.
35:24Oh.
