In a heart-wrenching incident, a four-month-old girl was mauled to death by a pet Rottweiler in Gujarat's Ahmedabad. The fatal dog attack, which took place at Radhey Residency on May 13, was captured on a CCTV camera and the horrifying video has gone viral, triggering public anger. Two days after the incident, the police on May 15 arrested Dilipbhai Patel, the owner of the dog. The Cattle Nuisance Control Department (CNCD) of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) impounded the Rottweiler and has kept it at the civic body’s dog shelter. It also came to light that the dog was not registered with the civic body.
