07:55jed seemed fine well pancreatic cancer is easy to miss

08:28just that life with him was difficult he could be unpredictable

08:36managing jed's condition with four kids was hard

08:50carried more on his shoulders than any child should have to

08:55i don't think he ever forgave jed for not being the father he needed

27:21but it looks like something's killing it off really

27:24and jacob thinks that it might be coming from the new development

27:28you mean glenn's construction site so on

27:31wow that might be what we need to shut him down

27:35you can't go around accusing people without evidence we have evidence

27:42what's that a sample of the dying lichen i'll get it tested

27:47see if there's any signs of toxic chemicals how long will that take

27:50probably a few weeks if he's using something toxic we have to shut him down

27:57let's go talk to somebody at the nova scotia environmental agency

28:01maybe we should think about this first come on let's show them what you've got

28:25i understand what it's like to be estranged from your father

28:37but i also know what it feels like to finally let go of all that hurt

28:55when i first met jed i was hitchhiking across colorado

29:05now things were good at the beginning

29:08but then he started developing symptoms and

29:12complaining that the world had lost its color

29:19eventually things got worse doctors prescribed pills

29:23jed didn't like the way they made him feel so he decided to manage his

29:27condition through diet meditation and that worked

29:33a lot of the time

29:37i know my husband isn't perfect but he always tried to be the best dad

29:43he could be despite his condition

29:49i can't imagine how difficult that must have been for you

29:55it is surprising what you learn to live with when you love someone

30:04i spent my entire life taking care of jed

30:12he's been my world my everything i don't know what i'm gonna do when
