00:00Hello wrestling fans, my name is Walker Stewart and it's time for night 7 of New Japan Pro Wrestling's Best of the Super Junior 32, live in Gmese Gunma.
00:12Yoroshiku, monagashimasu.
00:14Oh, there's one half of the English broadcast team for later on in the evening. No, I'm not talking about Daikinigai.
00:21It is your 19 year old and on the path to become the youngest ever Best of the Super Junior winner, Ring of Honor World Television Champion Nick Wayne in your opening match tonight.
00:34And it was the last time Nick Wayne and Daikinigai were in tag team competition, actually saw a victory for the Young Lion and the World TV Champion of Ring of Honor.
00:44We're going to see what they can pull out here tonight.
00:46And it is a W thrown up, not just for Wayne, but for the four W's Nick Wayne has found in Best of the Super Junior thus far.
01:16Yep, everyone.
01:17They're so good.
01:18Goodbye.
01:19Goodbye.
01:20Goodbye.
01:21It is Nick Wayne currently sitting at eight points on the board and actually the top of
01:49block B for the time being. It is a block A only night tonight means undercard preview tag team
01:55action is going to allow us to tie up a little bit with four point Taiji Shimori in the top of
02:01block B and Nick Wayne. Two men who have never faced off in a professional wrestling ring before
02:07tonight meet for the very first time in tag team action and in two days time meet for the first
02:12time in best of the super junior.
02:19And of course they're going to get a good shot of your Japanese broadcast team
02:31Murata and Milano collection AT on that side. It's the first time that we're seeing Gettle since
02:37resurgence of this year back on May 9th just right to kick off best of the super junior found himself
02:53enlightened by the good brothers of Carl Anderson and Doc Gallows and well that's all we have to say about that.
02:59Bell sounds were officially underway and we're live tonight in G Mese Kunma as it is Taiji Shimori and Nick Wayne who are squaring off for the first time in a professional wrestling ring.
03:17ring these preview undercard tag team matches folks are in design allowing these competitors
03:23to feel one another out prior to their actual block competition and this has been a very unique schedule
03:29for best of the super junior. I was having a conversation with heavyweight wrestler El Phantasmo
03:33earlier on in the evening who said that he believes this schedule for best of the super junior might be a little bit more intense than rather a G1
03:41climax the way that we will be seeing later on come July and August because you have a lot more undercard tag team action in G1
03:48climax scheduled out this year. Best of the super junior you're not getting the opportunity to feel out what seems to be a majority of your opponents.
03:56and only the second undercard tag team appearance for Nick Wayne in New Japan Pro Wrestling.
04:06As we're gonna both find tags to the outside blue corner here comes Gero and red corner Daikinigai.
04:15Special congratulations have to go out to Daikinigai.
04:18We haven't really talked about it or seen Daikinigai since when it comes to in-ring competition all that much.
04:23Since Takataichi Mania 4 courtesy of Taichi and Takamishinoku on NJPW world pay-per-view still available for pay-per-view mind and mind.
04:32Daikinigai and Yuji Nagata picking up a victory over two of JTO's best in tag team competition.
04:40And now it is Nagai that looks to translate tag team victory to tag team victory as these young lions still on their own missions to figure out
04:48Am I a singles wrestler? Am I a tag team wrestler? Am I something in between? Or am I a Jack of all trades?
04:54And well, everyone gets into professional wrestling because they want to be the champion of their chosen division.
05:00And while it looks like Daikinigai is trending junior heavyweight, this is definitely a tournament that Daikinigai has had his eye on.
05:07And speaking of eyes, you're going to have to keep yours on the ring post as Nick Wayne has divided his attention between Taiji Ishimori and the steel post at ringside.
05:16You know, oftentimes it's talked about in jest when it comes to Taiji Ishimori, this idea of him wrestling against the younger stars of New Japan Pro Wrestling.
05:32We talked about it a lot when Taiji Ishimori faced off against Kosei Fujita back in Shinjuku Face in November in singles competition.
05:40This idea that Taiji Ishimori has been wrestling a lot longer than some of these people have been alive.
05:45And while that's barely the case for a young man in block A like Kosei Fujita, who we'll see later on tonight.
05:51It is absolutely the case when it comes to a 19 year old Nick Wayne. Cover here for Ishimori.
05:57And it will only find two and just that point of the elbow being driven right back into the side of the job Nagai.
06:04Cover again once more for Ishimori and it's not enough.
06:10Taiji Ishimori started wrestling back in May of 2002, just a couple days after I was born in fact.
06:16And now Ishimori 23 years in professional wrestling and Nick Wayne only 19 years of age but has accomplished so much more than anyone could have anticipated out of a 19 year old young prodigy in professional wrestling.
06:31But Ishimori just a step smarter there. Knows to take that shot at Nick Wayne, isolate Daiki Nagai, build momentum heading in to Osaka where this match will come in block B.
06:42And good Lord Taiji Ishimori is going to need the points and potentially should it come to that point.
06:47The tie break over a man who has been leading the pack in Nick Wayne.
06:52As Daiki Nagai is going to find the scoop slam on Taiji Ishimori.
07:02And scrambles to the tag, going to find it to the Ring of Honor World Television Champion.
07:07Oh!
07:08Oh!
07:09Oh!
07:10Oh!
07:11Ah, well, Gano and Taiji Ishimori are going to do what Bullet Club War Dogs are set to do.
07:16Oh!
07:17Oh!
07:18Gano!
07:19Very well.
07:20It will be Nick Wayne taking advantage one more time.
07:24You've got to watch out for that devastating Gano clutch that has put many men away.
07:28Ishimori, a litany of tools in the toolbox to be able to separate you.
07:32And I had a brief conversation with Nick Wayne earlier on in the evening.
07:36He's talked about a little bit of pain.
07:37He's been feeling his upper spine and his neck.
07:40That bone lock could be very detrimental to the point if Ishimori finds the mark.
07:45And now, handspring cutter to connect.
07:49And it is Nick Wayne.
07:50Oh, and that is not the legal man.
07:53Youthful inexperience.
07:54Here's a cover again.
07:56And that's going to be it.
07:58Nick Wayne with the pin on Gano.
08:01Nick Wayne physical shot again.
08:08Well, you can question whether a pinning attempt on Taiji Ishimori was an experience as I might have initially called.
08:16Or was it a message set that I can indeed put you down for three should the time come for it.
08:22And that time is coming sooner rather than later in two days.
08:26We are going to be making our stop in Osaka Etienne Arena number two.
08:30And it will be Nick Wayne throwing up yet another W.
08:33If he can do exactly what he did here tonight.
08:35To get him on Taiji Ishimori.
08:37Hell of a combination here are Daikinigai and Nick Wayne picking up what is now two victories in a row for Young Lion Daikinigai alongside the Ring of Honor World Television Champion.
08:54You'll be seeing Daikinigai later on seconding around ringside as you're going to need all the young lions in the world for blockade competition here tonight.
09:15To try and break the fall of the broadcast booth and in front of these fans here tonight in Gunma.
09:20Nick Wayne will be joining us later on tonight.
09:22I can't wait to pick the mind of a 19 year old prodigy sitting right next to me when the Ring of Honor World TV Champion joins at that time.
09:30Coming up next, it is indeed eight man tag team action.
09:34We'll be right back next to me.
09:42We'll be right back next time.
09:53We'll be right back next time.
