00:00The global phenomenon of Wednesday was incredible.

00:07It was such a wonderful, explosive surprise.

00:11To come back for season two has just been a treat.

00:15Wednesday Addams is one of the coolest characters of all time,

00:18so to slip into the costume and tone again, it's just so much fun.

00:22For me, it was enjoyable just because, you know, I love the cast,

00:25and this year we bring the family to Nevermore.

00:27There really isn't a lot of Addams Family lore,

00:30so we wanted to delve deeper into the family.

00:32The scope has expanded in terms of the character arcs,

00:35and it's really fun to see them explore a lot more of Nevermore.

00:39Who decorated this place?

00:42A homicidal maniac.

00:43You shouldn't cast aspersions, dear.

00:45Not all homicidal maniacs have such ghastly taste.

00:48Catherine is such an amazing actress.

00:50She brings a reality to it.

00:52She really relished this season having more scenes.

00:55It was like, oh, my gosh, I get to fence?

01:00She's so good.

01:01You could see she was a dancer.

01:02I feel really, really lucky to be experiencing this mother-daughter dynamic

01:05with someone as incredible as Catherine.

01:07Darling, I'm not your enemy. I am your mother.

01:10I liked you better when you were a crystal ball away.

01:12There's my little landmine.

01:14Luis Gomez-Adams is such a great, warm character,

01:17and we see the father-son story evolve over the season.

01:22You're a chip off the old executioner's block.

01:25Pugsley-Adams is now a student at Nevermore.

01:28Here are the ground rules.

01:29No eye contact without permission.

01:31One thing reports to me.

01:32Poor Pugsley. He's kind of an outcast among outcasts this season.

01:36Isaac did a really beautiful job of capturing the pathos of Pugsley.

01:40He really wants to fit in, and he really wants a friend.

01:44But it's not looking very good.

01:46The first season we introduced Fester,

01:48and then the season we thought, let's introduce Grandmama.

01:50Top of our list was Joanna Lumley.

01:52The only people who deserve to be buried in this dump are the maintenance staff.

01:57There's always something thrilling about working for Tim Burton.

02:00The world that they've created here, it looks sensational.

02:03This gothic, sometimes quite bone-chilling, but it's kind of playful.

02:08Old memories are like old corpses.

02:11They never quite seem the same when you dig them up.

02:14Season two has everything people loved about season one.

02:18It's just kind of like, they turn the dial up on everything.

02:21We were able to top the mystery of season one.

02:23Day two of the school year, and you're already involved in some grisly murder case.

02:27Maybe you're cursed.

02:29The ambition of the show is limitless.

02:31We let our imaginations fly.

02:33It's quite funny and strange, and it's a nice way to come back into Nevermore.

02:37Wait, this is the first time you've willingly returned to a school.

02:42How does it feel?

02:43Like returning to the scene of the crime.
